Us enthusiasts are commonly labelled as 'stupid' and 'weirdos', so I thought it'd be cool to see how everybody did at school as I know a lot of you guys are probably actually extremely clever! I myself got 6 A*s, 3 As and a B at GCSE and just found out today that I got 3 As at A levels! Not trying to brag but I am definitely not 'stupid'... the 'weirdo' one is debatable though!

Imo tulleys is way more fun and much more of a laugh, but thorpes mazes are more intense as they allow touch scares.
-
Sooooo... If Blair witch is making a surprising return, surely that means 6 mazes this year as 2 new attractions have been promised. unless of course they just re-vamp containment and give it a new name? who knows?!
-
I think it will just be a walking dead maze, and a walking dead scare zone somewhere in the park, as well as a new original concept hopefully
-
Upon entering the park you are given a card which has the name of every haunt on, as you enter each haunt a staff member crosses it off so you cannot go through it again... although sometimes you get lucky and get a stupid staff member who forgets!!
-
Or you can come on the same night as me and just get three of the cards you get stamped for £10?
-
I was being sarcastic btw, the volt was the single worst scare maze I have ever experienced
-
Has anybody been through the transformers thing yet? If so what the hell is it?!
-
Jack silkstone's YT vid really helps for those of you confused or have questions on the whole walking dead idea
-
It would be interesting to see elements of past mazes all mixed in to VIXI... just imagine being electrocuted by the chain that guides you in the hooded maze??

Sorry for the double post but I thought it would be a cool idea to share our top 10 scare mazes/attractions on here, so here's mine: 10 - my bloody valentine (2013) 9 - saw alive (Thorpe 2013-2016) 8 - Woodstock shock and roll (tulleys 2012 I think) 7 - cabin in the woods (Thorpe 2013-2014) 6 - big top (Thorpe 2016) 5 - the cellar (tulleys 2011) 4 - studio 13 (Thorpe 2014) 3 - carnival of screams (towers 2011) 2 - Chop shop (tulleys 2015) 1 - the asylum (Thorpe 2013)

I feel as if I'm the only person on these forums to have ever been to canadas wonderland, so here's how I rank the parks two beasts among other well known classics: 1.leviathan 2.fury 325 3.behemoth 4.sheikra 5.shambhala 6.mako 7.intimidator 8.kumba 9.stealth 10.montu
-
The best hypercoaster I've done, and I've done a few: mako big one silver star shambhala intimidator it is my number 3 behind leviathan and fury 325, it really is an awesome coaster filled with airtime

Oh thanks

I think I may be the only one who thinks this, but in my opinion saw is always the most hands on/intense maze at fright nights, and 99% of the time is the scariest and most jumpy as well. I know a lot of you on these forums always slate saw alive and will think I'm a fool for saying this, but for the past 3 years it genuinely has been the scariest maze. Yes big top and cabin were more enjoyable, but scares wise were not anywhere near, if I don't do saw on a visit to fright nights I usually come home with the event failing to scare me.

I hope VIXI is scary, like extremely 'get me out of here!' scary, as I just don't get that anymore at tulleys. Don't get me wrong the event is amazing and I always have so much fun there, but all of the mazes are just more enjoyable than scary and I never actually get scared there anymore (apart from the occasional pandemonium/nightshade run as I'm scared of clowns). I hope they just completely scrap the bag on your head idea as the medieval theme could be done really well, and we all know how good tulleys can be at theming.

Sorry for the double post, but does the attraction have an age restriction yet? If it is 12 like Thorpe's or 15 like towers' then I don't think it will go down very well as not many people who visit will be in chessies target market age range
-
Can somebody please explain what the new 'scariest attraction yet' is? As I haven't seen anything about it yet.
-
if ahs was to happen, what season do you think they would do? Or do you think they would do multiple?: in in my opinion it wouldn't be freakshow or the asylum because they have the big top and they have previously had the asylum (although having to do with ahs asylum). I think murder house or coven would work really well, but I specifically would really love to see murder house: just imagine a crazy strobe finale in the basement like in one of the first episodes. I think I'd be in love!

I'm pretty sure it's VIXI, not XIVI?

Wow this is exciting! as for VIXI I have no idea of what it could be and am excited to find out. the name change of the other two suggests to me that they will be the two attractions which are extended: twisted clowns is is already a 8-10 minute maze and with an extension this could be colony length! I'm sure the maze won't change too much itself, just a bit longer without the 3D coven - the village is what excites me the most. I was one of the few who loved coven of 13 last year and to see that it will be updated and most likely extended really excites me. I hope they keep the first scene the same, if they don't I won't be too happy, but as to the village they could really do some great theming. The only thing about coven I disliked last year was the finale where we pretty much watched the witch dance on a table, if they improve this too I think this will easily be a contender for the best maze at tulleys.

After visiting tulleys tea room today I'm almost certain of some of the mazes survival chances for this season: creepy cottage 100% staying Haunted hayride 100% staying Chop shop 100% staying the colony 99% staying - all of its structures are still standing and identical to previous seasons, unless they keep them the same for the medieval maze but I think the colony is most definitely returning. couldnt really see anything for the other 4 but I think I'm joining the rest of you now in saying that hellements is the one to go. Just waiting for official announcements now really...

Dont worry about having to fit in the coasters in the dark, get every maze done first and then the rides, as you are visiting so early into the event I find that from 9pm onwards the coasters are all always almost walk on, the only one that can get a queue in the dark is Colossus but who wants to do that anyway?! However if you visit after the first 2 weekends expect 2 hour+ queues until closing

Same I feel I will enjoy the attraction more if I understand it, cabin was definitely better the times I did it affect watching the movie
