  1. I've got an iMac which I've only had for about a year... I think it would be able to handle Planet Coaster, but I'm not sure whether they're even going to make a Mac version! You can't talk to anybody about it on any forum, though, because the only response you'll get is "Macs are crap" or "buy a proper computer" (is that what they think 'PC' stands for?)... anyway my mac runs other games way better than my 'proper computer' ever did - so I'm sure Planet Coaster would be fine for me! As you say, I don't really want to pay £800 for a game
  2. Is there actually a designated front row queue, then? I'd definitely want to be right at the front on it (especially for £9) haha
  3. Vortex if you're lucky enough to be at the top of the maximum swing-angle! This is a complete rarity for me, I always end up getting stuck on the lower side... it's like sitting in the centre rows of a pirate ship.. BAH.
  4. Booster has been taken down... is this just a yearly maintenance kind of thing? I just read through the rest of this topic to see if my question would be answered already, but it hasn't been discussed. What I did notice, however, is a lot of love for that god awful Air Race thing - it's the most boring, repetitive, soulless ride I have ever been on in my life... I may have just had some rubbish cycles, but I honestly cannot imagine how that ride can possibly be made fun? It just goes round and round and round and round and round (recurring) - it's not even a sickly 'round and round'. Just feels like a carousel that just so happens to rotate upside down like it's not even a big deal haha. Just round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round...
  5. To be fair, it does feel a little bit unsafe right at the end of the pier! Those tight corners are no laughing matter! haha. I think if it were Wilde Maus XXL at the end of the pier, I'd actually have a legitimate heart attack... I couldn't even handle it on land at Winter Wonderland last year! Moral of the story: Wild Mouse coasters are a dangerous game.
  6. Oh yeah... that.... I suppose it's better than nothing?? Actually, I think I'd rather go on the Crazy Mouse!
  7. Thanks guys! I've been really into rides/coasters/parks ever since I can remember! And... well Brighton Pier needs a bit of work in my opinion lol - the best ride is Horatio's Bar! haha! Especially this time of year when it's cold, wet and windy, with Booster taken down and all the rides needing a certain amount of riders to run - no point going really!

  9. Yes!! That wasn't AS fabcrap, but still fabcrap nonetheless! It's just the way the ride facades are very well themed, yet the contents are so poor (but in a really good way lol). It's a bit like a Raspberry Cheesecake from ASDA... it looks really good, but just tastes like a block of Cheddar...
  10. The website for Olympia Looping says 114cm
  11. Peer Gynt by Henrik Ibsen - that's a good play! It's quite short, but really gets into the idea of 'self' and what it is to be ones 'self'. Deep stuff lol! Oh! Also, when I was reading it, I couldn't help but notice the 'Dovre Master', or 'Troll King'... King of the Norwegian mountains. It was the play for which Edvard Grieg wrote "In The Hall of the Mountain King" It was a completely unintentional find which made it more like "oh wow!" Haha!
  12. I went to Gardaland earlier this year - I actually really enjoyed Blue Tornado! Admittedly I did feel a bit sick after coming off the ride, but it was really fast and felt quite unpredictable! It was my first SLC, though, so maybe I enjoyed it because it was new to me - who knows! I visited at the beginning of May, and the Kung Fu Panda land didn't look like it had even started construction! So yeah, it must have been a bit rushed! Oblivion: The Black Hole was excellent; Raptor I don't really remember because my and my friend were laughing the whole way round about something else xD Sequoia Adventure... . Highlight of the day was I Corsari (I think that's how it was spelt) - It's hidden round the back of the pirate ship, you go inside the ship and it's basically an underground dark ride. IF YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE THE MOST RANDOM, INCOHERENT, INCONSISTENT, MUSICALLY ANTI-CLIMATIC IN THE CLIMATIC SCENES (YET MUSICALLY CLIMATIC IN THE ANTI-CLIMATIC SCENES), AWESOME RIDE EVER - I CORSARI IS THE ONE! I couldn't stop laughing when we exited the pirate-themed ride, walked through the pirate-themed gift shop, turned the corner and was greeted by -SPOILER ALERT- a completely white hallway with a single escalator taking you up to the surface. No pirates. No theming AT ALL. Just an escalator. Maybe it's just my sense of humour, maybe it was just the "what the hell was that about?" as we got out of the boat, but whatever it was, it was too perfect. xD Also, that horrendous Magic Tree thing made me feel sick. It was like a drunk Hex... *shivers* Basically, Gardaland is a BRILLIANT day out (totally worth the hour and a half trip from Venice), I think I could of happily spent a second day in the park and am planning to go there next summer (hopefully) with my girlfriend - DEFINITELY GO IF YOU GET THE CHANCE!
  13. I honestly thought it was going to cost about £12 to go on it... £9 means I can go on it twice... xD
  14. Hi I'm Dean, I've been following these forums for as long as I can remember, but for some reason I never made an account! So I made one lol. I'm living in Brighton at the moment, so Brighton Pier is my closest 'park'... but... yeah, it's not really worth talking about! xD I'm always up for a chat (unless I'm not available, or dead), so.. yeah
