    Fixed
  2. Why did you go against when Staff were asing you to leave for your own safety. Would you say No I'll stand up and you will move it if you were in a burning car..
  3. Mark9 replied to Dan_Rush's topic in General Discussion
    Oh no..

Spinning rollercoasters, as I've said before, are meant as support rollercoasters but always end up with the longest queues in the park. There is no point adding one.
  5. Mark9 replied to Phill's topic in Nonsense
It shouldn't be a miracle, parks should always have all their rides open.
  6. An easier way of doing things is to travel from Clapham to Surbiton via the replacement buses then jumping on the 71 or the 465 to the park. The bus to Chessington South takes a very long time (can take over 2 hours).
  7. Fury's drives only go one way as if they were able to be reversed that would be a bit.. dangerous. There is only one part of the ride where staff are able to manually unlock the cars and turn them round and unfortunately the cars only stop there during an alignment gate tripment.
  8. Ah okay, I think I'm with you.Basically it would be impossible to work out which way you are going to come into the station until it's in the station. What I'm basically saying here is that it would be unfair on the other guests waiting for the ride if the ride was essentially E-stopped to turn your car around. As the staff gave you another ride, I'm sure that's more then enough compensation for not being able to get out from Fury.
  9. Sounds like you had a good day =)What was your Fury complaint about?
  10. Very much agree. Chessington may not have got anything for a while and whilst this year has only seen revamps, I think what they have done has been very much over-due. With the park having 100% ride reliability from the word go and judging by the excellent up-time seen at the park today, this could be Chessingtons best season, for a very long time.

And by at least Sunday I hope you meant all season.
  12. Ah ok, so the day I went, I can blame Mondial, Gerstlauer, Vekoma, Mack, Intamin (X3), S&S and whoever the hell built the Canada creek Railway. That's a lot of manufacturer hate right there.
  13. And then there's walking from Colossus to Inferno and only having Rocky Express open.I'm sorry, how anyone can forgive nine rides closed at once on the first full open day of the season is beyond me. It's not turning my back, it's voting with my feet.
  14. Why? It's Thorpe delivering a crappy day out, not S&S, if their rides aren't available.
  15. Bubbleworks was down as I believe they were rebuilding the lift and drop. It's had nothing as extensive this year. All rides were open at the weekend and Rattlesnake, Bubbleworks and Skyway have been running all this week so don't worry about them not being open

Think of 99 words, off the top of your head, that don't contain the letters A, B, C or D.GO!
  18. Ah but TPB, Adz has exit passes whilst TPM doesn't. He is clearly better then us.

If you mean the Vicky who works on Runaway Train and Rattlesnake, she is back this year
  20. Of course the ultimate way of having a cheap day at Thorpe Park is to not bother going, instead watch the on-ride videos on youtube. That way you get the experience of the rides without the fuss!
  21. Reduce queuing times!Ok so I said the wrong thing...
  22. Mark9 replied to Dan9's topic in UK Attractions
Haha well done dude, hope you enjoyed it.
  23. If you want the best value, use TPM's trip planner to get the most of your day
  24. Mark9 replied to Knightrider's topic in The Future
I hope they add a top spin just to please everyone, I'm getting really tired of people wanting the most predictable and dull ride ever.
  25. It's £7.95 for the all you can eat stuff. About the same as Thorpe's Pizza Hut.
