Thorpe Shark Hotel MAP Discount?

sorry if there is already a topic on this, but tried searching and couldn't find anything...

 

does anybody know if there's any discount for MAP holders at the Thorpe Shark hotel, and how do you book the hotel just room only (well with breakfast), no tickets.

There's a 20% discount I believe, which really isn't worth it as it makes the hotel very expensive considering you don't get the park entry included aswell(you have already paid for that with your map). I'm not too sure about this though might be worth emailing or calling up.

and basically using that for a stay on thursday 9th october gave me no discount whatsoever £121.03 either way for room and breakfast for 3 people for 1 night

The discount is the fact that you are not paying for park entry.

Absolutely ridiculous price, thorpe are such cheapskates and money suckers. Who is paying £40pp for one night in a SHIPPING CONTAINER. Get it sorted.

yeah but they actually say merlin annual pass rather than room only... so what's the point in that if it's no different to someone who say has sun tickets and needs room only!?

Looking through here hoping this would help me out. Don't know if anyone will be able to help but me and a friend are planning on booking a night at Thorpes hotel on the 14th of march we will both have passes so I assume we do not require to purchase tickets? And after checking that website linked on here it doesn't seem to take bookings for 2015 any help would be great! (As I am not very experienced in this field)
