Posted September 26, 201410 yr comment_193148 Since we all know the showcase live event at thorpe park this summer has been hugely popular and I was thinking for next year the park could bring in a £10 - £20 wristband/ticket to actually meet the star and get a picture taken with them. This is a win win for the park and the guests. For the park means it brings in more money and the guests and fans would be happy to meet the singer. Bit like what adventure island are doing but do it in the summer instead? What do you think?
September 26, 201410 yr comment_193150 This happens anyway. My friend met Bailey'O'Connor and got a photo with him for free. It's just an idea for thorpe to suck money out of guests when the stars happily meet the fans for free anyway
September 26, 201410 yr comment_193154 Yeah my sister the two times she went met the stars for free. The acts are really nice as they're just happy to be getting some coverage so are considerate to fans. Bailey was caos last Saturday though! He went on Colossus through the exit and they had staff and security stopping any girls entering the shop. At the end of the day they were all crammed on the bridge looking down to the thrills workshop where he was getting ready to leave.
September 27, 201410 yr comment_193193 I know I'm not target demographic, but it would be nice if they got some people I'd actually heard of (alongside nurturing new 'talent') for these things. The x factor reject circuit is not something I'd like to see brought to the park, it just comes across as cheap and tacky.
September 28, 201410 yr Author comment_193242 You'd be surprised that many of the people who were on x factor are actually quite popular. And if the fans hear that they are at thorpe then the fans will flock to the park
