  1. I'm not really surprised, I did consider a premium pass last year but it really didnt offer much atall over the standard, london not being a huge deal to me and fright nights id of had to visit over 20 times to make it work out better value so it just wasnt worth it.With the car parking now free for premium and it going down in price its a much more attractive option, I'm wondering how much it will cost to renew my standard and upgrade it to a premium at the same time.I'd personally rather they scrapped the Standard / Premium stuff and had one bog standard annual pass which offers everything with no restrictions, at £175 thats only £25 more than a standard this year IMO they could easily get away with that. I guess this all goes back to the questionare sent out by merlin a few winters ago asking our opinions on the pass/ perks/ restrictions and how we would rather they were.
  2. Merlin have posted this on their facebook. Prices down for both passes, premium pass has free parking no restrictions. Premium it is!
  3. I'm sorry but Josh is right, the annual pass as it stands is incredibly cheep for what it offers, it still has a decent chunk of good perks and offers incedable value for guests wanting to visit 5 + times. Weve not even seen the new prices yet so I think some people are jumping the gun abit over things we dont know an awful lot about!
  4. Well that's a bugger, just spent my tesco vouchers on a new standard annual pass! I'm pretty shocked at this tbh, and I doubt they will like the backlash, but ive allways said the premium pass dont offer enough over the standard one to be a worthwhile purchase over the standard, whilst I didn't expect this it may well do now. Will be interesting to see what's said tomorrow and the new price structuring they've mentioned.

I think after last time they tried it I cant see them again any time soon, its not that the rides wernt ready, they were they just physically wouldnt work in the conditions.
  6. RMC

But as it stood, there was no way thorpe park would have survived when it had Chessington up the road. Although saying that I'm sure Tidal Wave was planned by RMC with a Pirate theme, would of been interesting to see how that would have turned out..

How would we know lol, Mind you ive never seen a failed launch that far out of the station so maybe a rollback.. but then still could be a failed launch
  10. Pretty much it, was more to stop things like games where you may post loads of times in quick succession but nothing really important. Somthing we can look at though depending how people feel about it!

Id say its more likely to be a replacement for Depth Charge personally, Rumba Rapids is a high capacity family ride which I cant see them removing any time soon. I do hope it gets a much needed spruce up within the next few years though.
