  1. The were working for the last part of the day.
  2. And only a 5 minute front row queue :PBut yeah it really was amazing today.
  3. The Blades WERE working for the final 2 hours of the day. And every other effect was working .But yeah I also rode it for the first time today. Indoor bit basically ownes the outdoor bit. I really had no idea there were at the indoor drop, really scared the hell out of me first time without knowing they were even there! The actual outdoor coaster bit is ok, and the ride was very smooth today, no headbanging at the bottom of the drop at all for any of my 3 rides.
  4. So now you are going again? .Mine says it runs out on April 4th, so tomorrow will be be the last chance I have to use mine (last visit I have in that time anyway).
  5. Probably the most stomach churning ride at the park.
  6. A couple of days really isn't a long term breakdown. I think he meant in terms of breakdowns which can last weeks/months. Breakdowns which are a minimum of a week I'd say. (Like Rush seems to have every month of every year )

    SAW - The Films

If you want us to 'get it right', don't build yourself a reputation for saying sick (meaning good) all the time, then we won't misunderstand you.

Get rid of that before James sees it . And next time if you want to say something is good, please just say 'good' instead of saying 'sick' all the time.
  9. It is still there, and it's used as a storage area.
  10. I went on the 15th, and I saw many staff at the gates telling guests to go and pick up their free tickets.
  11. Stealth wasn't having a breakdown, it was still in its winter maintenence. So that doesn't count .
  12. How'd you know? Each day is different, and no one can know what the queues will be like each day.
  13. Free Tickets were being given out, you had to collect them from the ticket collection tills .
  14. Gerstlauer have many Eurofighters. I don't think this is the first time weather problems might have interrupted one of them . And there is only one MCBR, and a lot of other Eurofighters have MCBR's as well, so it really isn't a new thing for them. And Thorpe are the ones who should be maintaining the effects, not Gerstlauer.I try and stick up for Thorpe, sometimes there are times when they can't help the situation, but so far this year I agree has been ridiculous. The Sunday I went on 2 weeks ago I'd say was ok for breakdowns (even though Saw, Stealth, Loggers Leap and Slammer were all closed), but from what I've heard, there haven't been much other good days really. It's fine that rides breakdown, it happens to every ride all around the world, but at Thorpe it seems to happen countless times every single day, for every single ride. It could be luck for all I know, but Thorpe just doesn't seem to be up to scratch of the other UK Theme Parks reliability standards at the moment.
  15. Read James' post. But no, it is not true.
  16. The second one is not used on Saw, it is just the Saw Film Series theme music.

Gee I'd never have guessed .
  18. Can I just ask, how do you really expect us to know?
  19. Sorry for Double Post, but Slammer opened for the first time in the year today . Still yet to see any activity at Stealth though currently.
  20. The Fastrack queue line was put in last year, it is a red fence splitting the queue line in half, and nearer the turntable (before you go up the hill), the two queue lines join up again as the path then becomes too thin for both. So really Fastrack for Rumba Rapids is only something to use when the queue line is at the entrance, otherwise you're only saving about 10 minutes for yourself.
  21. And last year when Tidal Wave didn't open on March opening day either, and Rumba Rapids the year before .
  22. The picture was from 2006, before Stealth had opened.
  23. It is, but you can see it because they just haven't put the wall back up yet.
