YES LUKE! :DI must get myself some more off eBay soon, not had any since June/July! I've been having an endless supply of Coca Cola though, due to regular Dominos I get 4 bottles of coke to raise the price by £5 to get it to £20 so I can then use a £5 off voucher. Cushty! Free coke!I don't think I've ever paid full price for everything at Dominos, thanks to voucher codes
  2. Chill Rattle :PSidders is an awesome, kind member of TPM, so I doubt any harm was meant by his post (although I myself don't understand it either lol)
  3. That Haribo ad used to annoy me but when I saw it the other day, I laughed my head off! Don't get me wrong, I don't like the thing, just have a more positive reaction to it :PAnd agree about X Factor. Ugh. Loud crappy music, annoying audiences that boo when a judge makes a valid, honest point just because they disagree with them. Here's another thing. Downtown Abbey - not something I watch but my mum and brother enjoy it and I know it's good TV, you can tell it is and it got very positive feedback etc. It didn't win any BAFTAs, but The Only Way Is Essex won the YouTube Audience Award. However at the Emmys, Downtown won quite a few. What does that say about us Brits? Never let them vote (or make them be of a certain age, intellect, intelligence!)
  4. People who rant about everything ;)I dunno, I'm just so happy recently and I can't help but laugh at everything, including things that would normally annoy me. :DIt's pretty awesome, and I don't think it's a coincidence that I've not had a drop of alcohol for 2 weeks either! Feel so much better for it
  5. Hello there Miles and welcome to TPM :)The rides stay open until 10pm. I believe Friday 14th is a school day, so it will be quieter. Although Sunday 16th is the day of our Fright Night meetup You would be welcome to join us or even pop along to say hello The following day is also a school day so the Sunday shouldn't be too busy either. Friday will be quiet in the day, but possibly with people visiting in the afternoon/night. Sunday could be busier in the day but definitely quieter at night. Sorry if that sounds confusing! The mazes can get very busy so it's often best to start queueing long before they open (4pm). This is another reason to go on the Friday actually - the mazes should be quieter! The mazes are good generally. Of course everyone has different opinions, but generally they do well. The actors are good, they make you jump, freak you out, the atmosphere is *literally* dark...average scare maze. The main "feature" is being made to jump, rather than a scary storyline to follow. Hope I have helped
  6. Erm no, Mark is just expressing his opinion on a forum :rolleyes:And I'm so with you on this one Mark.
  7. I hope that's not referring to me...there is a reason why I have trouble speaking to people, and anyone would find it hard to speak up and say to their friends that they didn't like the things they were saying to them...so put them both in the same situation, it's definitely not easy :blink:It's all too easy to say the person, whoever they are, needs to get confidence. They'd probably give anything to have that confidence but it's something that takes time to gain, and depending on the situation, could be almost impossible to speak up. And maybe they didn't want to bring the mood down and look like they were moaning or taking it too seriously when the others were just having a laugh.I quote Dumbledore from Philosophers Stone: " It takes a great deal of courage to stand up to your enemies, but a great deal more to stand up to your friends."

Great Scott! That's enough to generate the 1.21 gigawatts of electricity needed to send the DeLorean back to the future!
  9. Shame, I haven't been tagged in those yet Got me some Monster Sausage Surprise.
  10. YAY! :DAnd it's more effort to say HAITCH than aitch, cos of the H sound, what a waste of breath...I mean you don't say AD HIATCH D. So why be like "I have HAITCH D TV"? That should totally be a way of getting people to learn at school, like the other rules like "I before e except after c" etc... :glare:I mean no offence but it just makes no sense. Scone, bath, etc etc...the words that we can pronounce more than one way, usually because of regional accents etc then fine, I accept that (even if the other way does sound funny ). But HAITCH is something someone illiterate fish made up and it's all a load of silly stuff...people caught on and then it just spread and now people sound daft
  11. People who cannot pronounce the letter H.IT'S AITCH, NOT HAITCH!!Sorry, I know when people get corrected online chatting they get all like "omg it's the grammar police" but this isn't online, this is real people talking, and the correct pronounciation is aitch. It does not have two ways of saying it! So people don't have a reason to say it like that :blink:It's really grinding my gears! Whenever I hear anyone mispronounce it I just have to fight the urge to correct them and rant...so many people say it, even intelligent, well-educated people! I'd love to know how it all started.Apologies to anyone here who does say Haitch but...grr! Especially when teachers at school/college used to mispronounce it! I mean really??AAAAAND breathe......
  12. My teeth! But I couldn't stop laughing!

    Television

Not sure if I've posted in here before, too many pages to look through! My favourite TV shows/TV shows I watch I are, in no particular order:The SimpsonsFamily GuyTotal WipeoutEmbarrassing BodiesBizarre ERHarry Hill's TV BurpImpressionist shows (such as Jon Culshaw, Dead Ringers, The Impression Show)I'm A CelebrityOutnumberedBritains Got TalentAmerican DadMongrelsQIA bit of EastEnders here and there :closedeyes:Animal documentaries etc (usually on Animal Planet)Documentaries about things that interest me (sounds silly but I'm sure you'll know what I mean!)Little Britain (when it was on), Come Fly With me wasn't too bad either :DBo Selecta (again, back when it was on)I'm not really into any sports, but I'll watch a bit of Wimbledon or England in the footie World Cup. Oh and I loved the Winter Olympics in 2010! I think because there's a lot of extreme sports, I loved the ice hockey, bobsled, skiing and luge
  16. X Factor. Can't stand the stupid annoying music, and it seems to go on forever. And I personally just dislike watching person after person sing, I just get so bored and it's just so pointless...Matt Cardle? Oh don't hear about him anymore do we? :closedeyes:Dancing On Ice! ARGH! My mum likes it, so every year I have to endure it with it's loud annoying music and the stupid loud audience, it's a load of "celebrities" (well, nobodies) poncing about on an ice rink...and they copy Strictly Come Dancing! Silly ITV. Anything with chavs or dumb teenagers in. Oh and now the advert has just come on...that bloody Lee Nelson thing. It was on once while I was waiting for Family Guy...ugh, such trash. As if this country isn't infested enough with chavs!
  17. Love the transport rant Mark, although I am guilty of the repeated button pushing with the train doors, except that I do know how it works. It's mainly with South West Trains, as the door buttons take ages to light up, I just feel the need to push them I feel very uncomfortable with strangers being close to me so I tend to do what I can to block the seat next to me on the train. Wouldn't block 4 seats though, even though I'd love to, infact I'd block the whole carriage if I could :)Buses aren't as bad, perhaps because people don't stay on for as long, and you don't get people with massive bags and briefcases! And I always get in people's way Most of the time I'm in my own world and I struggle to be aware of others So if I need to go in my bag or whatever, chances are I'll just stop without a thought, but it's not because I'm stupid or selfish, I just lack the awareness. I should get a personalised hoody saying "WARNING: AWAY WITH THE FAIRIES" on the back :lol:Or in my case, away with the cats.
  18. Aww Sidders! For a rant it was very well written! I know how you feel though. Not sure I've had an experience quite as unfortunate as yours, but I can have bad experiences with people etc in supermarkets. So many people, so many slow people who just don't seem to realise what is going on, screaming brats...sometimes I feel so overwhelmed by it that I end up feeling quite dazed, lost, and kind of like a zombie. Add that to the way my eyes glaze over when this happens, I get a lot if funny looks, people must think I've taken something! When I'm with my mum this never happens but on my own I can have bad times!
  19. Sounds like it could be a good idea, where do we sign the petition?

I know, it's a real shame she had that drug problem. I guess they did try to make her go to rehab, but she said "No! No' No!"

Just seen your post again Mark...you got Bailey at 6 weeks? That's quite young for them to leave their mum!As I am sure most of you know, we have recently got a new kitten, Hermione! She is now 10 weeks old and is a silver/greyish DSH tabby but she has some Bengal in her, evident by her facial markings and the noises she makes. You can see what I mean in this short video about Bengal Cats: Most cats make that noise (known as trilling) but Bengals do it a lot more and it sounds slightly different. And when Hermione does miaow, it's very quiet and raspy, apart from the odd "normal" one!So yeah, exciting! Tango (and Poppy) with Maine Coon, Hermione with Bengal. Such interesting cats!We do like the name, it's unique, and her brothers are called Harry and Ron so we wanted to stick with it. But it's quite long and awkward to pronounce in a way. Some other names we thought of were Phoebe, Bella, Millie, Minnie, Luna, Lily and Izzy. Out of those, I think Millie, Minnie and Luna are the ones that suit her the most, and today we have been thinking again about changing her name. She doesn't seem to know her name yet so it won't do any harm to change it. Luna of course is another Harry Potter name, the character is eccentric/different and the kitten is, with the Bengal in her etc. Plus, Luna sounds like lunar, aka the moon, and with her silvery colour...but my mum isn't as sure Blast!Oh and I nearly forgot - today is Tango's 13th birthday, which is 68 in cat years!
