  1. For me, Alton towers will always be the better of the two. The people are always more happy at Alton towers, wheras in Thorpe park, you will always encounter some chavs or people having an argument....I'm not sure why that is....Oh and Nemesis.
  2. Well I guess if you can bring a massive 4 foot orange snake on Rumba and Loggers, you can take a camera.

Oh wow, did they genuinly do that?
  4. Did anyone who went to Alton towers recently see the granny on the motorised basket thing that was blasting out club music? That really made my day!

I would just like to say that after my recent Alton towers trip, Nemesis is still the all time greastest rollercoaster ever. It was so good that I had the urge to remind everyone on the forum about how great it is.

They still have condom machines in the toilets though... :s
  7. Ive just been to Drayton manor and it was much, much better than I thought it was going to be, especially after all the things other people have said about it. The two things that I found to be most special about the park were the Queue lines and Apocolypse. When I mention the queue lines, I'm not talking about how short they are, I'm talking about the theming inside of them. It was amazing and so much better than any theme park I have been to so far. Especially stormforce 10. Apocolypse was the best ride in the park hands down. I absalutely loved every part of it, from the themeing, the music (Kerrang radio), the short queue lines, and the sheer height of it. And the fact that you can stand up on it! It was just fantastic.
  8. I would try to get on mumbo jumbo first, because of its ridiculously slow capacity, but if you can't, go on Kumali.
  9. I'm going to visit Drayton Manor for a day in the summer. I havent been before and its only one day, plus it will be very busy. Does anyone have any tips and things I should take note of while I am there?Like what ride should I go on first? What ride will get the biggest queue?Best places to eat? ....etc...Please don't start slagging off Drayton though, I know it may be a little rubbish, but this is going to be my first time so it might be fun...although Flamingo land was a dissapointment when I first went there...

Recently I've been annoyed about how there is no other band like Pendulum. I've been trying to find music like them for ages but have found nothing even close. So I thought, how hard is it to make a simple drum and bass song? All I need is a riff and a good drum and bass loop. When I got fruity loops, I had a go at making some drum and bass songs. It worked out pretty nicely, was fun to make and most importantly...sounds like Pendulum! (a bit).I made a youtube channel to share the music I made so if anyone wants hear, just click the link below. I'm not saying you must enjoy it or anything....just have a listen and hopefully reccomend or mention the channel to others. :Phttp://www.youtube.com/user/TyphonDrumandBassI called it "Typhon" because it sounds cool and is apparently some massive ancient greek giant. PS: Sorry for stealing your thunder Andrew H. Your remix is awesome!
  14. They should be. Most people are either revising or doing exams.
  15. Already had one...
  16. The ride begins with an inside vertical drop. If you can do that, you will easily be able to do the big'un.

I voted Paul Burling but I would be very pleased if Twist and pulse make it instead.

  20. Final day today I joined team perseus but had a terrible cold. I was ill all day and felt miserable. But apart from that, it was fun. Did Vampire and Bubbleworks. Goodbye Chessington....

    Hahahaha!!!
  22. Had another good day today, working with team Perseus. Unfortunatly I had a pretty bad cold, so I was feeling quite miserable... I worked with Vampire most of the day and Bubble works. Plus, I met someone from this forum. Tomorrow I will pick the Team I want to join.
  23. http://www.dorkly.com/article/1360/critic-reviews-a-rollercoaster-tycoon-parkI found this online, and thought I'd show you guys.
  24. Ah, its fantastic! I can see why everybody thinks the Chessington staff are the nicest to guests. Its because of the great atmosphere. There was this really funny guy in Indiana called Jack.
  25. Work experiance still good. Today I worked with Team Indiana and it has been the best team I have worked with yet. By the power of elimination, tomorrow will be Perseus. Should be fun
