  1. Unfort they're gone coz I love my fast food - but Chessie are good and strong enough to not need fast food outlets like KFC, Pizza Hut and Burger King. So it will be very interesting these next few years

(I've seen her once or twice but boy she knows my face) NOT (I've seen her want to drive before she knows my face)
  3. I worked in F&B for 1 season, so I know what it's like. The prices aren't that expensive and are cheap when you have AP - seeing as loads of ppl have APs. I know the food tastes nice because the customers, come and tell me that the food is nice - they come back for more :POnce we had a social event - and were served hot dogs, nachos n chilli and it was very nice ^^ - many a time, I've been a guest at Chessie (recently 6 times in 2008) and the food is nice. The Nachos n Salsa is very nice, I love the Paninis (Cheese & Ham) and the Hot Dogs are very good value for what they're priced at, seeing as Onions are free. And if you look at the meal deals and compared seperate prices to what they cost in a meal deal, that is a bloody bargain. Also, the Greedy Goblin is amazing (PUB) - I've had Ribs & chips (which is IMO the best option) once and the Beef Burger, which was a lot nicer compared to Burger King foods. Since after a certain time, you can get two meals for a tenner excl drinks (I think it's after 4pm - can't remember)Personally, nothing beats a good pizza, a Big Mac or a Boneless Bites, when it comes to Fast Food.I am looking forward to what 2009 brings

I agree that people should write properly and try to use punctuation, with correct spelling. But the only problem I have is LOL; I see no problem is using it - me finds that it is an exception. An idea I've had, was to have TPM Chat, where we can talk to each other. Either in one talk window or in seperate windows because some ppl don't have msn or don't use it. So we can do both at the same time, talk in TPM Chat and also post in TPM, seperating chit chat in topics from the real post-like posts.
  5. He didn't mention in his post that he was at Thorpe doing his R.I.T. He just said what people were doing at the park.James is right - Merlin UK Parks do, do loads of assessments. For example,I re-applied to Chessie and after I didn't recieve an auto-confirm email, I phoned and was told they've had over 1000 applications. Even people with uni qualifications AND people who are "older-than-youths" will apply to Chessie because they're out of work due to the economical recession. The reason why some people this year might not get a response is because loads of people with families to support need the jobs - and we are supported by our parents, so the people with the families to support need it more than us.All cars should be on site since its Feb in days time and the ride opens on the 14th and they will need to do tests and complete themeing etc.

    What have I missed Holz?
  7. Good idea but not like X-Sector (a theme other than Sci-Fi)
  8. It looks a lot faster than Nemesis or Colossus
  9. They only problems I know if, is that they have are space issues and the fact that theyre near a residential area.
  10. I'm annoyed that Drayton Manor think they're sooo good they can build a hotel and waterpark - when in fact, they're not even a lil' bit good. I'd rather Flamingo Land build a hotel and waterpark than DM because at least FL have the rides to back-them up.Drayton needs to invest in new rides and new coasters in order to keep up or try to. They don't have to buy all the expensive coasters. There are plenty of coasters out there that they could buy:Mack/Gerstlauer Launch CoasterMaurer Sohne Spinning CoasterXCar CoasterEurofighter CoasterWooden CoasterVekoma Suspended-Looping CoasterBoomerang CoasterAll these coasters can be inexpensive and ones can be built to fit Drayton's budget and space requirments. If they wanted to, they could ask someone to invest in their company.

The coaster runs 8 cars not 9 and that's it! What more can you want? You've first-hand experience from the people that work the rides (no pun intended), what else do you need? The coaster can't be extended and no realistic inc financial changes can change the ride. It is possible to change the layout (theoretically) but that would cost loads of money and with what Chessington have to work with - won't happen unless massive changed occur, which might I add - cost bling bling!

I expect Thorpe to still be around and for the park to have developed considerably - not just in the thrill rides that install but also in family rides and also in other forms of entertainment. Thorpe is what we call a Thrill Park, who specialise in building adrenaline-thrill and mild-thrill rides. I see Thorpe Park building more thrill-type coasters but I feel that they will take careful planning when deciding. Thorpe Park is the nation's thrill capital (as they say) and they should do this, by adding thrill coasters that offer different types of thrilling experiences. All I really want at Thorpe is, a Woodie, a Flyer, a Floorless / Skyloop X-Car Coaster and a Hyper Coaster. Any of those infact I will be satiasfied since Ive never been on a Hyper before. Gwazi (Woodie), AIR (Flyer) and Kraken (Floorless) were amazing. Ive friends that have been on Abismo (X-car Skyloop) which said the ride is actually bloody scary because the lifthill inverts you at 151ft, its around 1500ft long and has RPH of 550.

If your dad is like that, I suggest you don't tell him - Dads can be like that but not all are. Because its the type of thing you hear about but would never expect to happen to ur own son/daughter. I don't why but it's like Dad's expect their sons to be straight, maybe it's a macho thing? They expect their sons to be a football fanatic like themself and to be a cookie-cutter son - but the reality, is that it aint like that anymore. If you want to tell someone, Mums seems to more acceptive of this then Dads. Heck" she might appreciate the fact that you can be honest and confide in her. Mums like it when you feel that you can talk to them about sensitve things - they feel its part of their "duty". As for sisters, if yours are like the type that will spread it around - then don't coz that will only make things worse. Something smart is, if you tell your mum and then tell your sisters - you can get ur mum to make them promise they'll keep it a secret. Because at the end of the day, it aint their place to tell people at school - it's up to you at ur discretion.I hope that helps
  14. Its not like you don't post crap or spam on Southparks (JoshC4) - which you do loads. I'm quite sure Thorpe will put something nice there.

    Same old - same new
  16. He thinks he's Holly and You - an admin :huh:Thorpe Parks owns Abbey Lake to the left of Colossus, Manor Lake to the right of Stealth and Fleet Lake by the carpark to the right.I have been told that a Coaster is planned to the left of Colossus on a land extension that is to be filled in at a later date. If you look to the right of the park, we have tons of land (enough for 3 Coasters) but if you look to the left, we have a nice amount too. Not forgetting Fleet Lake, which has loads too. We are not short of space on the 3 sections (water). We will most likely see a new family/thrill ride or coaster where MHF Safari used to be.

Maybe if spinning coasters were made longer - they have more cars on track?

You can't really jump out of a boat unless you weren't sitting in it in the first place - but its still hard to jump out of a boat that is quite high up.

On my phone, it says "Add Recipitant" then "Add Multiple"If your phone doesn't have that feature, I suggest you going to Phones4U or O2 storeDon't do Orange (Store/Network) - by the time you send a birthday message to someone it will reach them on their birthday BUT..............5-years too late....!

It stands as 70%-ish are straight and 30%-ish are gay/bi/unsure in the pollHas anyone apart from me realised that most of the people that "come out" on this forum are 14-18. The amount of people that I know or know-of that have come out/are gay is unbelievable yet believable. Is that the latest trend? Coming out or wanting a same sex encounter? In popular culture:Katy Perry: I Kissed A girlBritney Spears: If U Seek AmyYou're really smart if you can figure out what the second song title secretly says.

I agree Dragon's Fury is very well-themed and I love how its encloses the entire area. Spinball may have 2 Immelman Turns but the whole coaster hasn't got a lot of themeing and is very cramped. Wikipedia says the themeing is limited - what a load of crap. Not to mention that Df is longer at 1770+ ft whilst Spinball is only 1500-ish.DF might have long queus but only because its the joint-star attraction along side Vampire. Maybe if there were more rides and attractions, the ride will be less busy?
  22. It was a joke James Well they can buy it
  23. Flood into that lake behind Nemesis Inferno or I dont know - get dump trucks and dump the water somewhere else. Why did Nemesis get built one year after Colossus? There must have been a reason for building so soon after Colossus.
  24. The crap people come up with - it almosts make me look like a saint heheheChessington have loads of green land behind DragonFalls/RamsesRevenge/Runaway Train and also to the left of the south entrance. If Chessington wanted to expand, they could just move their south entrance to the left loads. The South Entrance is just a gate and a few booths - I never knew that costed like £20million LOLThorpe have got a 115ft restriction but they have more freedom than Alton. Alton have tons of space which half of it is protected or gardens or have trees that contain special powers They have to be careful when building/begging/grovelling for permission. Then again at least Thorpe have better locals - Alton's locals are a bit pissy coz of the relief road I thought that was going ahead, isn't.
  25. Colossus was 2002Nemesis Inferno was 2003 so why the short amount of space??? (I was shocked when I heard that)Stealth was supposed to be 2005, I heard but 2006 doesn't really make a big deal because N.I came in 2003 so it does equal out correctly. 2008 was supposed to be the flyer but because they had changed hands (company) they didnt have a big budget. Also, Thorpe wanted a reliable and well-themed ride and Eurofighters were relatively new so it kinda makes sense. It does make sense that we are having a coaster in 2010/2011 because the land behind FF is nearly complete and all they need to do is landscape it. There's also the water between Stealth and the infilled land which someone has said was an idea of a flying coaster over water: World's First Flying Coaster Over Water anyone? Not forgetting that when my friend, went to induction they had said that Thorpe plan to add 3-4 more coasters to Thorpe. Not forgetting that Thorpe have land to the left of Colossus that can build on (Abbey Lake???).Thorpe aren't short of space but will just take time.
