  1. Due to a glitch, we've temporarily lost the Dylan topic. So here is a filler one until we can get it back. Codename: Project DylanFinal Name: Anounced 13.10.08Top Speed: 55MPHHeight: 110FTVertical Drop: 100 Degrees, 2nd steepest on earthGet set for 2009, as Thorpe Park gets ready to unleash their ultimate new scream machine, Project Dylan, a 100ft, beyond vertical drop Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter roller-coaster. Situated in Canada Creek, this will be one of the parks grimmest attractions yet. Complete with dark sections, who knows what surprises may lurk inside.Riders will begin in the station building, where the car will then move forwards and proceed to spiral down further into the building, turn after turn, dodging obstacles before entering a Zero-G roll and coast out the building. The car will then position itself to climb the 100ft (30m) vertical lift hill, before cresting and plummeting riders down the 100 degree drop, reaching speeds of over 50mph. Narrowly missing theming (known as the 'head chopper' effect) riders are then swept into a Immelmann loop, round turns, over airtime hills and then climaxing with the final inversion, a dive loop, before cruising back on into the station.Unconfirmed * The ride will have an age restriction of 15+ years, as it'll be heavily based and themed around a horror film. * Samurai will be re-themed into Canada Creek for the opening of the coaster.Weird Fun Facts * The windmill, part of the theming, will not be allowed to spin as Runnymede Council said it would interfere with Heathrow airports radar aviation control systems. * This will be Thorpe Parks sixth roller coaster (Flying Fish, X No Way Out, Colossus, Nemesis Inferno and Stealth).

Thorpe Park Mania is happy to announce that we are now the 'Official THORPE PARK Fansite'. This is an excellent opportunity for the Park to reach out to its fans of which they have a shown a strong interest in doing so as of late, with events such as 'Behind the Loops' for its most dedicated fans.Partnering with THORPE PARK means we're able to bring you great new content, such as on-site Project Dylan construction updates, as well as the Park's views on the latest news and issues.Peter Ronchetti, THORPE PARK Divisional Director, comments: As well as all this, we're pleased to present our new Project Dylan construction site, with improved organisation of updates, and an improved RSS feed...so you'll never miss an update. We hope you continue to enjoy and visit the No.1, and now 'Official THORPE PARK Fansite': Thorpe Park Mania.
  5. We're working on getting the other sections up, they should appear later tonight or tomorrow. Technical glitch!
  6. Because some members boost their post count up in the off topic area, and when new members come along, they see a member with a high post count, and assume they're all knowledgeable in the area of Thorpe/Chessington/Alton/Whatever, when in actual fact they're supreme ruler of the Random Spamothon. It's difficult to go in much more detail than that, all you need to know is that its done
  7. The simple answer is that they take a while to update. Long answer is that post counts are cached to reduce server load, and only updated at random intervals.
  8. Well as I said, they were considering one, but when you look at Thorpes PRIMARY audience, they're not the kind to opt for a CD. It would work better at Alton, definitely, just not enough content for Thorpe, or the right market.
  9. Thorpe Park were doing a CD I think, but the only way to do it was to mass produce, and they wanted to trial it first, so it never happened. Plus I think it's a niche market. It works better for parks like Disney with a huge library of music, which is kinda more sing along.
  10. I find it amusing you just called me a 'whore' when you yourself are throwing a fit over it.Oh well. Suspended.
  11. There's not enough patient words in the world.http://content.maniahub.com/audio/Chessing...Tomb%20Blaster/ Give it 10 minutes and it would of finished uploading.
  12. We're not fighting, I'm simply stating my stance on it all. If Seb wants to carry on with the pathetic "NUH PHILL NUH", even after I blissfully ignored it the first time it was deleted, then he can be banned. Simple.
  13. Perhaps because we're more focused on doing something other than Audio whoring ourselves? The very thing you apparently hate.
  14. I know some people brag about it, and I completely agree. What's pissing me right off is that I'm being accused of it when that's a load of effing bull s**t. If I was SUCH an audio hoarder where the hell did WWTP come from, Detonator, and a load of other crap. It comes on TPM when it's allowed to, and, has PERMISSION. It's as simple as that.
  15. Well Sebastian when I hear differently, you'll be the first to know. That'll be the last of it on this subject.
  16. Ok Sebastien now you've pissed me off.First of all, one more comment made about me 'bragging about having audio' and you're banned. Secondly, when on here have I said "I HAVE _____ AND I'M NOT RELEASING IT HAHAHA". The answer? I haven't. If you wanna talk amongst yourself and just assume I have s**t, then go ahead, I really don't care, but mention it on here, and again, you're banned. Thirdly, people don't keep audio to themselves so they can brag about it, they keep it to themselves because that's what they've told the person who sent them it. It can get people in trouble, and jeopardize their job, which ISN'T cool. So for one moment here, stop thinking about yourself and "WAH HE/SHE WONT SEND IT OUT WAH WAH" and grow the f**k up.Fourthly, Merlin Media, is owned by Adz. The 'exclusive' audio uploaded there is just clips found online from the music producer(S) website(S), or stuff that fanboys share amongst themselves on MSN, not online. Future in infringing copyrighted material, WIN! WHAT A FUTURE. Seriously? Now if you've all quite finished.
  17. When I get a second or two I will update the layout map! Thanks for the feedback guys.
  18. After some feedback we've refreshed the Project Dylan website. Construction is now split up into dates, so everything loads more snappier. Content is more organized, and a nice new photo viewer to. Thumbnails are no longer weird sizes, and scattered everywhere. Photos now have captions. Less graphic intensive, more cross browser compatible. Inspired by the Stealth site, of-course .Hope you like the changes!
  19. As long as it's in the No Limits topic, I don't really mind, as long as you're not like, double double double posting. Ta.

I created my first Windows Virus today, it brought all the machines in the lab to their knees... and I did it in under 5 minutes. Forces the user to rip the plug out, due to Windows totally spazzing out. Can anyone say epic fail on Windows part? ;)Anyone wanna try?

    Samurai

Fair enough, just a thought! Time will tell I guess, although only 2 months left of this season, just seems odd to get a new sign if they plan on retheming!
  22. No idea what happened to the Samurai topic, so here is one!Anyways. Samurai has a new entrance sign / information board. Proof the thing isn't moving to Canada Creek? Ta Matt for the pic.

Of-course it's sped up you idiot, it even says at the bottom of the bloody advert. Secondly the 'comparison' is running on sodding Edge, not 3G. Thirdly it'll be the network operators fault, not Apples. Fourthly, OH, IT'S AN ADVERT. Jesus Christ.

I'm not up in arms at all, I just think they're stupid. The Gates and Sinfield ones were awesome, I watched them a dozen times, I thought they were very clever. This is a very silly move to draw attention to a company that is FAR FAR FAR smaller than you. Either way the fact that Microsoft are on the attack shows they're scared, and seeing as Apple Mac usage has grown significantly speaks volumes for how affective the 'baby music' adverts have been.
