RANDOM: I am going to a BBQ tonight and tomorrow night.Great friends + Great Alcohol = An Amazing time! (WKD ftw! )
  3. I had my first ride ever on Griffin's Galleon today with the amazing Mark operating! :(I can't believe I am saying this but I really enjoyed the ride!Me and my friend started doing 'Saturday Night' 'Macarena' 'YMCA' 'If your happy...'We got a few weird looks at times but who gives a f*** to be honest! We had fun and a laugh and that is all what matters! :(
  4. As you state, Personality is usually key for a successful relationship.
  5. I found this video (On Vampire obviously!)This would be good to show anyone's parents or younger children that they can ride Vampire if they are scared! Another point: It is a really good video and I suppose shows what the 'Older Generation' can actually have the same fun we do sometimes. (Without injuring themselves )I personally just like it as it is on Vampire! But anyway... The link is below...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZxz2_96Fjw...re=channel_pageApologies if you have already seen this video clip before.
  6. I think Depth Charge has had its time at the park.To be honest, I think Depth Charge should be removed and a new Ride / Attraction be built there.I would imagine Depth Charge could take up alot of space really?
  7. Don't worry Theme Park bloke, I know Chessington & Zoo are allowed to change things without notice.I just thought I would post to let people know that Chessington have reduced their Halloween Hocus Pocus nights which shocked me to be honest.
  8. I just found a Chessington & Zoo park map while clearing out my bedroom and thought I'd look.I saw on the Calendar 2009 that the Halloween Hocus Pocus was arranged to start from the 17th October to the 1st November.(Making 16 days of Halloween Hocus Pocus).I have just looked on the website and it says they start on the 23rd October to the 1st November. (Making 10 days of Halloween Hocus Pocus).Does anyone have any idea why Chessington & Zoo have made their Halloween nights shorter? It is not as if the park is really quiet on the Halloween nights is it!
  9. Thanks for that Steve!I did wonder thought how my name was on the maybe list when I did not even post or email Marc!
  10. The front is amazing!I forget that the Rotating Blades are there as I was panicing like mad over the beyond vertical drop as it was my first ride on SAW: The Ride. :PI really did enjoy the ride and I am glad you thought so too Stokesyboy! The only negative thing for me was that the ride felt a bit short. Then again, that could just be me.
  11. Could you please add Jezzerz to the list as a maybe please?
  12. StokesyboyWe did not visit the same day you know.I was just stating that I have also been the first front row on SAW: The Ride.My last visit to THORPE PARK was Tuesday 23rd June 2009.(This is when I was first on SAW: The Ride).Sorry if I confused you!
  13. Same!I was front row on the first train aswell
  14. I was the first rider on my first ride on SAW: The Ride too! :huh:I figured out: I can really run when I want too!
  15. I prefer the 2006 announcement anyday to the 2007 one!The 2006 one gives me goose bumps sometimes.Whereas, the 2007 one, That sends me to sleep!
  16. I was job hunting with Jess (Jezzerz) and all the jobs are either not employing anyone due to the credit crunch or because they have no spaces.I am from Brighton, so their are loads of shops etc.I only found one! Yes One! Place that were looking for weekend staff.... Bowlplex! :)I will be working when everyone is off school so it will be busy. (This means I can do call for lanes on the PA announcement. It is not Vampire, but it could be a step towards it PA wise! )Then, Hopefully if their is spaces, I will hopefully be working at Chessington & Zoo which will be my dream job!(As a Saturday job, not a final job).
  17. I am going to Chessington & Zoo on Thursday 16th July with Steve and Jess.(tpkabz and Jezzerz on TPM)Rides and Attractions are available from 10am until 5pm.All Rides and Attractions are currently available.I would love to see on my visit (even though it will not happen! )Welcome to the Vampire... Waiting time is currently 0 mins... Rides and Attractions are available until 5pm....I am really looking forward to my next visit to Chessington & Zoo!
  18. I have just come across another video of Black Mamba. It is a really good video and shows up the ride really well.I felt like flinching a few times to how close it got to certain objects such as the ground, rocks...Here is the video link if you are interested. It really annoys me that I have not rode Black Mamba yet as the only reviews really I have heard about Black Mamba have been all positive!
  19. I know babe where you are coming from as I was with you! :huh:A fu***ng nightmare!I did like River Island though!
  20. Jess!

Are they Hocus Pocus Hall glasses???!!!!! :P

  21. Agreed.I do not find Colossus rough and it is my favourite ride at THORPE PARK.

    Fastrack

I have heard before that 'Hydra' Fastrack enabled you to Fastrack Rumba Rapids, Tidal Wave and Loggers Leap (One ride on each).I was looking on the Fastrack section on the THORPE PARK website and it is not on there. Is Hydra Fastrack still in operation or not?
  23. I agree that Black Buccaneer should have kept its old style of loading.I can not think of a reason neither why the older style loading was removed. The only things that I could just about think of was...1. Not busy enough really for Black Buccaneer needing loading gates.2. Electricity?
  24. You find SAW: The Ride quite funny as it has broke down alot on you?
  25. Agreed.I find it so much smoother at the front / towards the front of the train.I usually always let people go in front of me (if they want to) if there are only spaces at the back. This is because I would rather wait a little bit longer and get a smoother and better ride (imo) by waiting for a seat towards the front of the Colossus train.Roughness of ColossusI personally have never found Colossus really rough. Sure I have had a few rides where I thought 'That was a bit rough' but very rarely for me to be honest.Colossus is a great ride and always deserves its place at THORPE PARK.
