  1. That video's good. "Hanging out with the brake fins." Love it.

On Windows Vista, can someone tell me how to record what's on-screen? I wanna record a ride simulation in RCT3 and upload it to YouTube, but I'm clueless on this!
  3. I've got every Thorpe tune going on my computer and PDA! Making ringtones is simple, I downloaded a program called Ease Audio Converter.
  4. I'm confused, AeRO says it's gonna be sold, Rich is saying it's not going anywhere, it's up for sale on a website? Will we get to ride Samurai this year, will it be there?
  5. They'll probably launch them at a similar rate to Dragon's Fury, possibly slower. That is big! I like the way railway goes underneath that. How high is it, it looks bigger than Fury's? Well, I'm sure we'll see them in the future, if they don't appear straight away. Let's hope not.Saw is looking sweet in the snow! If only the photographer of this picture had stood more to the right, as you can see the Samurai platform, and you might've been able to seeif Samurai's still there. Having seen that, my guess now is that it's still there at the moment, and it's staying the same this year.
  6. So I assume the photographed support is being replaced? And when you say B&M brothers do you mean Oblivion and Air?
  7. I love it too, I went to Chessington about 15 times last year and only went in the Sea Life Centre about 3.
  8. I agree with what you're saying, but if they did "kick out" KFC, they'd have to an entire refurb inside for a wrecked theme IMO. Otherwise people would realise that all they've done is take down KFC branding and replace it with theirs.
  9. As shown here:http://www.towersnerd.com/gallery/?image=1258It's one of those supports as you go under a bridge, isn't it? What's going on with Nemesis? I assume it's undergone it's annual "stress test" on the track like they do every year?
  10. I agree with what you said about Big Mac, but unfortunately we won't be having any more of them in Chessington's queuelines.
  11. Is 2009 the last year for the Sea Life Centre?
  12. Yes.KFC and Pizza Hut are gone for '09 at Alton Towers and Chessington. But they still remain at Thorpe? Then again, it's pretty hard to rip KFC out of Amity Cove and re-theme a restaurant to a "disasterous state" (so to speak) in the space currently occupied by KFC.
  13. What is up with Merlin? They're a good company, and better than Tussauds IMO, but last year they removed McDonalds (criminal!), and now this year we haven't got a KFC or Pizza Hut! OK, so KFC ain't an issue to me because it's quality is awful, but Pizza Hut is!As far as I'm aware, the KFC's and Pizza Hut's at Thorpe are staying the same this year, however, I've heard they've gone from X Sector and Katanga Canyon at Alton Towers to be replaced with "Pizza Bars", another Merlin incorporated restaurant.Think of the 20% Annual Pass discount, I was told! Yeah, I'll think of it, but sometimes the quality of the food is not the best.
  14. Probably because it serves the worst food in the park. Honestly, the baguettes are rock hard and the filling has no flavour. Plus they don't butter them!
  15. Oh, joy, squealing to drown out the thundering noise of Colossus in the cobra roll, and the hissing of Slammer. So Saw will squeal along with it's riders. Huh? You rode it?
  16. Ahh. Yeah, I can see where you're coming from, but the station may not be finished yet. If you come, I will show you around Thorpe.
  17. Do you live near to the park or far away? This footage is great, it seems a loud, just like Colossus is when it's running, so I guess, unlike Stealth, the supports haven't been filled in with sand? But to see a train finally hit the track and go around is wicked! It certainly goes through the inline twists well and looks fab, the thing that makes it look fab is just a little car unlike a long train going through the inlines. Is it me or does it look cute, just one little car at a time working it's way through? It's a first for Thorpe, as we're used to long trains wrapping themselves around the tracks, whereas this has kinda been seen at Chessington and Alton Towers before, with Dragons Fury and Oblivion cars.Is that really the speed of the tower lift? That's slow! I expected to see it winched up at the speed of Dragon Fury's lift hill. Mind you, the way the cars will hit it, you'll be taken up the first 25% of the tower by that wonderful thing known as gravity. Yes, also don't forget that the commissioning of the ride also involves getting the exact speed for official sources. We'll excuse you.
  18. I started properly going to Thorpe Park in July 2005, I never went on Depth Charge for the first time until about a year later.
  19. I don't remember them, but they all sound like songs you can find anywhere else on the net. The current tune, the Flume one, is good for the ride.
  20. I've heard that the KFC and Pizza Hut have been removed for this year - is this true?

Oh, I wasn't putting it at the top of my list. This year's photo has been one of the best on my passes.
