Erm, considering the summer hols are the main time when parents have the time to take their kids to a place like this, it's a very stupid idea. Just because you don't visit Legoland doesn't mean others don't either. Try looking past the nerds who visit mainly Thorpe Park (no offence Marc ), Merlin have a much larger audience than fanboys and I know that lots of families are going to be highly disappointed with this restriction.

The Legoland restrictions are what get me. So many families buy MAPs to take their kids to Legoland in the summer. But with no entry until after 2pm during August... for some people there's hardly any point in going! That'll definitely decrease the amount of people interested in going and will bring down the numbers of people buying MAP. This restrictions take the p!ss.

I've got to admit, I'm disappointed with this. They're turning Blackpool Tower into the same thing as every other Merlin attraction and thus taking away from the tower what it really is! It has personality which Merlin is stamping over with the cheese they put everywhere else. A 4d cinema like Madame Tussauds and The London Eye have and Alton Towers WILL have. And the Dungeons like, well, the London Dungeons. Bp tower is unique. Even if merlin did do something could they not be a little more original. Cheese may equal money but its getting boring now.

After my step dad not being allowed anything unhealthy for ages due to being in and out of hospital, this afternoon after he was discharged we had a Chinese takeaway

Well it happened to me and nothing? But you never know... :)My work has really thrown me in at the deep end. Yesterday I was given the new guy to look after a WEEK after I started and it was just us two on the busiest aisle in the store...Couple of people were on holiday so it'll hopefully be better next week. Nice and fast paced though
