You can't see in the building, you have no idea how near ready it is. How do you know there wasn't more vehicles inside the building that were being tested? You are just making wild assumptions.

I believe that was the plan, obviously something's gone wrong in the past couple of days which has meant this wasn't possible.

Guarantee you would've complained if they hadn't released an opening date, like you continuously did when Towers didn't release their opening information until late. You just moan about everything, I think us on here just have to get used to that.

You are complaining that rides are opening unfinished, so Thorpe are doing the good thing and waiting for Ghost Train to be fully finished yet you're still moaning!

Thorpe are refunding people who have booked Shark Hotel. Most other hotels have a cancellation policy so depends where he and others booked really.

Maybe something happened in the past day or so for them to decide it wouldn't be open. You're just assuming they would've known before.

One little thing, it doesn't say who's reading a topic at the bottom of the topic page anymore.

It's a shame but without knowing the causes behind the delay it's a bit tough really. At least they have given over a weeks notice, and seems like they will be refunding people who've brought a ticket for that day. Perhaps in future they should do what other parks do and not announce an opening date until much closer to the time. We still don't know when Reign of Kong at Universal and Taron at Phantasialand will open.

Poo Poo It's cool on desktop but awful on mobile, some points: Mobile: Can't see which topics have been replied to from the homepage. Have to press too many buttons to get to chat/blogs/calendar Seems to be running quite slow You have to click the small timestamp on homepage to go to that page, easy to accidentally click the larger users profile pic icon No desktop site alternative Trickier to navigate Easier to post media! Much clearer layout of posts and being able to like/quote etc Much cleaner and more professional looking mobile site Desktop: Announcements section at top with forum rules is too large, takes up over half the screen New circular profile pics are cool idea but cuts down the photo a bit Can't seem to find the links to most popular content/highest posters etc Chat looks nicer Alerts for new posts in topic I'm reading are clearer. Merlin have pleaded guilty to breaching health and safety laws over the Smiler crash, expecting a large fine to be coming their way.

It's not a Merlin trend, parks across the world are opening their rides later in the season.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that is just not going to happen.
