  1. Amazing value, just booked DJ Fresh tickets! They must really not be selling well.
  2. When I went last year I'm sure we did get AP discount on drinks. But then we also pre-drinked in the car park.
  3. Well they're not going to do it when the park's open are they.
  4. Just a shame the main places I'd usually eat at were closed (Pizza/Pasta, Noodle Bar, any hot dog stands, Bush BBQ)
  5. It's been opening in the afternoon each day, but it should be opening all day from today (if not then tomorrow).Went to my first summer nights yesterday and it was quite good. Lots and lots of re-rides was good, but a lack of food places open and no music playing round the park was disappointing.
  6. There is absolutely nothing to suggest it'll be another B&M, who knows!
  7. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/alton-towers-rollercoaster-crash-man-5987141 Here we go again! "An Alton Towers spokeswoman said: “Two cars in the station area nudged each other at walking pace. The guests on the two cars walked off and we advised that they attend our medical centre as a precautionary measure."
  8. Did you click on the article? If so, they've done their job.
  9. Storm Surge was blatantly put there so nerds could see construction for this ride, it all makes sense now!!
  10. That crack in the hype fence, similar to the crack in the wall story arc from Doctor Who?
  11. I'm sure she's said she's not actually a dancer.
  12. This comes down to training staff to only allow people a disabled pass if they have a letter from their doctors saying they cannot queue. I remember when I was at guest services before and claiming my compensation exit passes, they thought I meant the disabled pass and gave me a form to sign as they were going to give me one... Luckily I told them this wasn't what I wanted, but you can see how they are easily willing to give away disability passes to people without a doctors note!
  13. Yes they should be treated the same, in the same system, please try and understand that's the point I'm making. What I agree with in Paige's post was that not everyone will feel like they need the pass, some people can cope without it.
  14. Stop posting such common sense.
  15. I really want to go to a TPM meet, bu can't make some of the dates for upcoming ones. Maybe we could arrange an unofficial one at some point?
  16. I'm not opposing it at all, the point I'm trying to get across is that in this situation, they are the same in the sense that they are preventing the person from being able to queue.
  17. In this situation (where someone can't queue due to their illness, it is the same). I don't see why you think there needs to be a seperate system for people with mental illness's, I really don't.
  18. We're talking about a theme park situation here, both mental and physical can prevent a person from standing in busy queues for a long period of time. Let's also remember that thorpe's queuelines aren't exactly spaced out entertaining queues, they're mostly cramped cattle pens holding a lot of people (this can affect someone with a mental illness massively).
  19. Difference in this event is that if you're not doing the MOS part at the end (which is a seperate ticketed event) it's just a normal day
  20. Why do we need to segregate between mental and physical illness? The current system/any future system should apply to both.
  21. The same reason as people with physical conditions should, they have something that prevents them from being able to queue/stand/be in large group of people for a long time.
  22. I was disagreeing with the point he made about people with mental health issues shouldn't be allowed to get a disabled pass.
  23. Then surely you should have some compassion and understand why some people with a mental illness need to be issued with a disability pass.
