Yeah, bit late to respond. I understand greatly how you must not like the ride, as my nan is in a similar situation. However, you can obviously understand the appeal to others. :PAnd I must say I LOVE TB with a great passion, but it sounds pretty weak at the moment, a great shame.

As sad as it sounds, it makes it a better effect. Makes the area feel more ruined and unreliable and such. Trust Thorpe to make an effect that is just as effective, if not more, when it doesn't work!

I thought the empty seats were just because it was a rubbish ride? :PHonestly, I prefer the new system. I hate queuing inside the building for more than 5 minutes. Far to uncomfortable, hot and not really that effective for theming - the feels of being inside wears off before you ride.

My point being they don't really care if it's it T&T, Ano-Mak or Gerwhatastir. They probably can tell that say B&M is smoother than Vekoma, but would they really know much more than that?

Thinking in terms of the GP, yes, that would be fair.However, as fans, many like to discuss what manufacturers are better / preferable, etc. For example, one manufacturer's launch might be much comfier / sound nicer than another's. The comfort of the ride. I could go on. It's something people on here like to discuss, so that's that really. True. However, I think having two the a park the size of Thorpe isn't that good. More a variety of different attractions would be better in my opinion. Mack launch coasters seem great, much better than Intamin's and I'd love one at Thorpe, but I just don't think it's a good idea.

Agreed. The theme and the theming of it is still good, but it still never matches up to to older version. In my opinion, Loggers is the best Flume out of the Merlin parks, possibly the UK.
