It was also doing this throughout most of last season too. I don't think it's a new issue. Certainly odd though.

No idea, but TBH I'm not a fan of any of it anyway. Nowhere near as good or memorable as the previous stuff!

Samurai has been more reliable in recent years! It used to have a traditional give up around May/june and October for about a month a piece!

Anybody at the park today? Planning on going on Thursday so if it's testing again, then it's a good sign
No action at all today at Stealth. Rumba on the other hand cycling all day and then about 3pm with staff in position, so expect to be up soon.

I can't say I get the uss around RTH either TBF! Was hugely disappointed!
80 mins on a 1 train Heidi was not fun on my last visit in 23, and the nearly €4 for a can, yes can of coke as well as poor food offering left a sour taste! (which was according to Looping a slight reduction on F&B costs at the time!)
I won't rush back personally.

Regardless of thoughts, we can't deny Thorpe has by far been the best run Merlin park this year. It has been a disaster at Towers and CWoA most the year!

Misters at the end of summer is just laughable, and the awful looking cheap temporary fences surrounding them just makes it look abysmal!
But still at least they are trying.

Took a few hours to get going again, but was still able to get 2 rides in post 5:30pm

This work does conflict with the remarks of another rider yesterday, who insisted that they had seen a report which stated that Stealth "is to be removed at the end of the season", really? this work proves that Stealth is here for a good few years yet.
We all know that isn't true but being misconstrued for the ride shutting all of next year to be modified to included LSMs and a spike in a major project by Zamperla. 😂

Wonder if they’re ever going to make an announcement/update on Scorpion Express 😂
Apparently no other investment can be put forward until they have an answer to the water park so literally all decisions including Scorpion Express are supposedly on hold. It is all very strange as there still isn't a decision and planning went in late June/early July last year (13 months ago)

Single rider can vary due to a number of factors, but generally I have found on 4/5 attempts it has been between 20 and 30 mins from about 2/3 of the final straight towards the stairs, but on one occasion that same amount was over 40 mins. It seems to have been quiet pre 12 on my visits before getting longer.

The lake looks fine, it's a natural body of water just modified in size. It's the condition of the splashdown part of track that's rank. Regardless it's still amazing!

It was definitely on one train Sunday, not through choice. Hopefully whatever the issue is gets resolved soon

Perhaps the crows could come back, as they aren't using that area for Hyperia any more.

Was still closed as of today. Hopefully it'll reopen soon

Despite that, it had 2 further short stoppages of 10-15 mins around 4pm. Other than the morning issue and the two stoppages ran flawlessly.
Great atmosphere once it opened.

It's been having a few issues of late, seen it a few times stopped on MCBR.
Today it had been shut most the day and opened around 4:30pm.

I think the next big investment will be for the parks 50th birthday in five years, but what that looks like is anyone's guess.
Totally agree a log flume of sorts would be good, even if it meant Rumba closing I'd take it.

No one remembers Inferno spending most of July stuck at top of the lift hill in 2003 or when Saw had its 'I don't care about block breaks moment' on its open day in 2009. No one will remember Hyperia's issues in a couple of years time.
These are annoying opening issues and whilst it's frustrating, people have to grow up a bit (on twitter at least) and show a bit of maturity. I've seen conversations about it needing more testing time. No amount of testing time would have bought about a lot of the issues the ride seems to be having at the moment.
Fully remember that Inferno situation. Was sitting up there virtually a month. Totally agree all coasters have issues. This really shows the negative approach and damage that modern social media can have. We have heard all sorts of nonsense spread about it.
For the time being appreciate any rides on it and expect delays or being spited or it is just best to wait a fair while if you want it to have less issues. I'm sure in time it'll become a very reliable coaster.
