Hello TPM peeps, The dates of the TPM Phantasialand have been set as Friday 2nd Aug until Monday 5th Aug with the aim to have two days on park (Saturday and Sunday) and evenings out in Cologne. I have already spoken to a few people interested already and the best option for accomodation seems to be the H+ Hotel Koln Bruhl. It has easy access from Cologne via tram (route 18) and easy access to the park. If you share with people the price can effectively be halved. I will not be booking on behalf of people, so if you are coming please book ASAP. Link below. https://www.booking.com/hotel/de/h-hotel-bruhl-koln.en-gb.html I have already booked my hotel stay. Of course if you'd prefer to stay elsewhere and just meet at the park then not a problem, but would be nice to all be in the same location. In terms of flights Ryanair fly from Stansted to Cologne and the best option is the 14:20 outbound flight on Friday 2nd Aug and the 21:55 return from Cologne on Monday 5th Aug. Chips or fries?

Cologne is far cheaper than Gothenberg! At the moment there are flights at the end of July for as little as £45 return and also accommodation in hotels for around £270 for two people for three nights or even accommodation for up to 8 people in apartments at less than £1200 for three nights. If we confirm dates early in the new year and book well in advance it will be fine. This is open to change of course, but due to the nature of my job term time is out of the question unfortunately.

Any thoughts/opinions/ideas are welcome.

Glad you enjoyed it. I've never been interested in visiting this park as it just doesn't have anything I see as worthwhile to go for. Yes it looks stunning, but just not enough thrilling rides to entice me to spend money to go there.

Nemesis Inferno always seemed to be dire when it had one particular operator, and as shown in the video the 3 minute dispatches, rechecks of whole trains over and over and constant announcements on PA were a common occurence! A shame as it was always so well run in previous years or when under other operators!
