Sorry Benin, but they look identical to the ones in the concept art, you should of been expecting this from the start.

I think this will be a case of "Don't get your hopes up" - To save yourself from disappointment, personally would love to see it open again, but let's be honest if it's playing up this much, it's been closed almost a year now! Then I can see them giving up completely.

Well if you walk a couple of meters you will get the exact same view without the sign

I would have to disagree with you on that one Fred! Unless I've mistaken your post, then other than marketing signage which isn't exactly in your face, all signage is pretty much themed to the ride. Every single swarm sign around the area is themed to a Police Witness Sign, Every Lost City sign is themed to the Lost City theme, Colossus is similar to Lost City, Nemesis Inferno, again all the signs are the brown inferno background and writing, SAW has the police/warehouse background on the signs, etc etc etc. The only signs thus far I can think of is the recently rebranded shops which they where lazy with and just put the Sobotage font with a generic background and called it a logo.

And where is your proof? They may have planning and developing different ideas for years, who are you to say when they started planning this.

Maybe it was a smart 'test of the market', if they hadn't tested the lighting improvements we may not of seen the new story of 'X' nowadays.

As far as I know, they are metal plates rather than stickers. At least they won't slowly peel off the wall any time soon. I'm sure there will be plenty to look at when the area closes in a few weeks time to add the 3D stuff in. Oh and the Angry Bird's positioned around the park are for the egg hunt, I can only assume they didnt want to make them so obvious that everyone can see them... I mean if they put a huge building, with blocks and TNT it would be a little obvious.

You actually contradicted yourself in your post by saying it looks crap but you will reserve your judgement as it's not finished. If you are reserving any judgement, don't make a statement that 'a few figurines don't cut it' - because: A - The area hasn't even begun construction yet, all that's happened is the buildings have been painted. B - A tiny fraction of the area's thematics has arrived.

You're actually giving me diabetes with your recent posts, are actually expecting the entire area's theming to arrive over night? The few plastic figurines are extremely likely to be the first of many to come, as well as numerous other thematics to cover the area.

Random, but when did this dispute arise again? I haven't seen them display closed rides on their website for years. The last one I remember was a banner across the Slammer ride page stating it was closed!
