I was very tempted to post 'It has a theme?'

I have never been there xD

I got told by one of the Engineers it's a mechanical problem due to the ride's age that it's so violent, and that it takes you further forward than you are supposed to.

In the UK alone I agree with Mark, It's not all bad. IF it was worldwide however, we can't have much comparison.

I think if I went to a theme park and were presented with portaloos I would never return again. Even if there are permanent ones 5 minutes away.

As it stands I have been told an addition kiosk is to be open making it a total of 3.

They will use wide angles of the ride when it's in motion but for close up shots they use a test seat and a green screen. It's easier maybe not so much cheaper, but a lot easier.

I don't think Alton could justify closing 3 attraction (mostly major) for 2 months.

Every 'big' new attraction usually gets a preview night but generally its for press and celebrities only. I wouldn't even bother thinking you can go to the preview evening. The fact anyone can edit wikipedia does give off a 'take with a pinch of salt' attitude.

Hopefully they will sort out the mess of 2012, the station was always hit an miss depending on the staff members working. You could be sent down a side that had 30 people waiting or you could be sent to the other which had 5 people waiting... The logic is illogical. Hopefully on the right side they will be smart and the queue adjacent to the church wall will be cut in half, half used for back row and other for other seats (hopefully cutting the front row queue all together) and on the other side they have some space to extend to the wall and back making a reasonable queue length. If they don't do at least this I will be hitting my head against a wall.

Well, I wouldn't rule out any possibility of the back row being ruined. You haven't ridden it backwards yet so for all we know it might make the ride much more enjoyable!

They would usually allow you to choose a side at your request.
