My apologies, I was rather tired.And I really still don't get what the PA had to do with 'no music being on hence the loading was slow', as I see music on and loading fast to have no mutual exclusiveness, I mean really if you don't interact with staff and guests as an operator, then problems will occur with boredom happening, loss of concentration etc and that's when accidents happen.You can listen to the music anytime, it's pretty strange you just bitch about this over the fact the music wasn't being played properly.

Merlin have done wonders for the main 3 parks in the UK. Look at Mutiny Bay, (I won't say SAW as it is franchised), the effects fixed at Thorpe, Chessington effects redone and most areas of the parkj repainted and refurbished.Really good to see a change is now is progress

The first fence closest to the camera is now the large box table in the Souk (bottom area after exp q/batch) and it goes straight up over the staircase which is in that photo now.

Well it's called using PA to our advantage, so we get your queuetime by telling everyone what to do instead of telling everyone individually.The operator in question (as there is only one female Vampire operator at the moment) is an incredibly good one, who really pushes team to beat targets and reguarly does beat targets so your queuetime is reduced massively.Please think carefully before making any rude comments about staff please!

Cross motor is broken, it'll just be sourcing another that is the major problem - when the fan motor broke last year it was going to close for a hell of a long time but luckily another was found second hand but it full usability, maybe they won't be as lucky this time!
Depends on what time of the season. Queue times that exceed 5 minutes on a weekday currently: ...Queuetimes that exceed 25 minutes on a weekend curretnly: Vampire, Bubbleworks, Fury, Falls and Rattlesnake.
I'm not sure about Vampire however we are pretty much always told to man Exp/Batch if we are selling tickets, but obviously the people went through to cut the main queue.. which is logical?
They need to repaint most of the theming and repave most of the areas imo, and sort out whatever Saw's extrrior landscape is, not really sure if it's left as a building site or wether it's half themed to one..?
They have offices in Malden Rushett - Silverglade used to be their main Studios base with Tussauds North being at Alton. Main offices are in Poole anyway - Barwell is nothing to do with Merlin as it is a BTSC College.

Just for anyone that is intending to go via Chessington South on opening day or the weekends after opening day - Replacement buses will be in operation so it's probably better to get a train from either Waterloo/Twickenham/Clapham to Kingston and bus it from there - £2 on the 71 or 465 and the bus doesn't take that long, dropping you off right inside the gates.
