  1. Have seen them filming for this on 3 of my visits this season.
  2. Yeah I know No, I do prefer it clean, but just didn't think it looked too bad dirty.
  3. Hey... You work on vampire right??

Thanks for the info, have been waiting to hear if anything happened! Like the sound of how the actors/actresses are acting, but I still feel like they should pretend to be in the traps a bit more.
  5. ^Agreed. But then you also get plebs like Jonathan Ross who casually walk past a huge crowd of long-waiting, pushing, desperate people at Thi3teen opening day, with a smug grin on your face! (Not saying I wouldn't do the same if I could, but still)
  6. I guess it's just me, but I quite like the pool looking filthy in that pic. Makes it more tidal wave authentic. Then again, I do love the look of it now. So eh.

Really! I find the room too predictable I.e you know when the person is going to jump. Although saying that, I don't like it when the pig is hiding in the corner so always have to look out for that, as I have quite a fear of the mask. I agree, the room is atmospheric.

I don't understand why everyone thinks the Freezer is the best scene. IMO its definately the Bathroom. The theming in it is superior to any of the rooms, and as any SAW fan would agree, it's the most iconic and brilliant sets in the series.

Yeah, you are right, one small screen, and one larger screen showing live; then the one showing the different views of the SAW: The Ride warehouse, and another with Billy on the screen.

Oh my do I agree with you. The annual pass day was amazing compared to any other time I have done it! Yes it still wasn't super scary or whatever, but the atmosphere was so much better, and the actors really were amazing! And then I go home after that day, rave to everyone on CF and whatnot about how amazing and atmospheric etc it was, only to go in it a few days later and it be rubbish! Now, if they have the same amount of actors in there as AP day, I guaruntee there will be less dissapointment. There were 2 (3 at one point) in the bathroom, both chained up, screaming for help, grabbing you. One guy huddled up in a corner in the electric corridor, who chased us all through when walking past; 2 in the freezer room, as usual; 2 in the masoluem, both chained up, as if they where in the trap; 1 in the Pendulum trap; and 2 in the Carousel trap, they were both arguing and pleading with each other, they were grabbing us, and then when the shotgun sound/air blast went off, they threw themself into the wall/ on the floor, so realisticaly, I'm sure they must of hurt themself a bit.Anyway, emotional, heart felt rant over , I just hope that Thorpe do something and hire more actors, and get them to actually play as if they are in the traps, 'cause at the moment, based on everyones thoughts/the crowds it has (not) drawn, its looking like a bit of a bad investment.
  13. Ooopsie. My mistake. Just assumed it as theres normally tonnes of mist flowing out the back and covering the exit path
  14. I went again yesterday and although the mist looks orgasmic; the mist at the end of the tunnel was broken. However I must praise the fact they finally have the entrance to the tunnel working. I love it

Actually, they are right. The picture of the hanging body is from the Freezer room scene.

Really, don't worry about the Pig masks. I'm super scared of them aswell, but they don't do much. Just really stand there or follow you
  17. Saw that today, glad that Amity has been worked on. Love the speaker near the megastore, the whol area feels much more thorough now.

Okay people, it wasn't crap. Yes it wasn't very jumpy, but the atmosphere and theming in it is absolutely amazing. All of the actors (Most of which are in the traps) are brilliant; they play their roles superbly, I mean, just brilliantly. he potential for this to be jumpy is obviously there; just add a few more actors etc. But the 'creepiness' is definately there, and they have portrayed the films brilliantly.
  19. Same here, although once I actually did turn around and say something, I was in the queue for Stealth and a couple were arguing about how Stealth was launched, and it got really, really annoying, the girl had the whiniest voice ever! So I start to explain it fully, turns out they were quite interested, but then they wouldn't stop asking me questions, so I now know never to do it again! I also like it when you're on rush and there's always the one person whose restraint won't release and they panic, so you just stroll along and give it a little push, and like magic, it pops open I wish it was I could say the same, it's torture having to keep looking at videos/traveling to look at an empty park
  20. ^I agree its smells goood. And yes, I am definitely overly-obsessed.
  21. Exciting stuff. Look forward to whatever this may be
  22. Wow that would of been quite a walk to do after being at work all day
  23. No I wouldn't just want to work to say 'oh bruv I worked on this sick coaster'. I want to work in rides as I wish to work in ride maintenance and believe it would be good experience and get on the career ladder. It's not really the theme park atmosphere I'm after, it the rides, they fascinate me, and to work on something as 'Beautiful' in an engineering sense, as say Stealth would be a dream come true. Plus my passion for coasters makes it a whole load better. I am not very good at focusing on things that dont motivate me, if I was to go into admissions/enviro I do not think I would do very good job and would end up either leaving or being fired, which is a too high risk for me to take, as I wish to work at Thorpe for as long as posible, it is where my passions lies.
  24. Actually mate, it wasn't a general application, so I think you are silly one. You put down the departments you would be willing to work in, I only put rides so they should have at least warned me so I could of withdrewn my application.
  25. Just a warning to everyone. THORPE ARE NOT OFFERING RIDE POSITIONS TO UNDER 18'S. Found this out today They offered me admissions or enviro but I said I'd wait another year :'( I think this is really wrong, they should have emailed me to tell me this rather than make me come to the assessment, do all the tasks etc and then sit down for the interview and 'Right, we have you down for admissions, yes?' My heart sank when I heard this.
