Chessington Trip Reports
A very nice trip report, James. Thank you for taking the time to write it. I wanted to go anyway, but this report has given me a lot more inspiration to visit Chessington, and I am going to make an effort to visit this summer.

Closed Rides
If a ride breaks down, and they say "You are more than welcome to wait in the queue line", then I usually do for 30 minutes. If nothing has happened in that time, then I leave. This worked incredibly well in the Colossus queue last week. We were queued back to the section under the trees near SAW, and the announcement came over the PA system, "Unfortunately Colossus is suffering technical difficulties and has temporarily ceased operation etc etc." We waited in the queue for 20 minutes, in which time so many people had left that we were now queueing just past the front row entrance. Then, 2 minutes later, the ride opened again and we were left queueing for less than 5 minutes before we got on.

Thorpe Park Trip Reports
It should be busier than that tomorrow. The weather forecast was terrible for Friday, hence the reason for it being so quiet. The weather forecast for KT16 8PN tomorrow is Sunny Intervals at 22 degrees, so the park should be a bit busier.

Tidal Wave
Having one ride down really won't affect the queues that much. Think, there are around 30 other attractions. 1 hour queue worth of people split between 30 attractions really isn't that bad.

Thorpe Park Trip Reports
I know you were talking to WhiteKnuckle, but it's funny you should say that because I noticed last week that the ride was a lot smoother in general, especially on the corkscrews before the on-ride camera.

Ticket Prices
Thank you, but does anyone know if you can buy it at the start of the day? It's just that I don't really want to be carrying round £70 all day.

Ticket Prices
I think I may have already asked this, but I'll ask again just to make sure. On Tuesday, I am planning to buy an Annual Pass (Thorpe Park). Do I have to order online first? Or can I just go up into the Annual Pass building at 9am and ask for a TP Annual Pass and hand over £68 cash?

Roller Coaster Tycoon
I very much like your saw mill launching rollercoaster. The detail in the mill itself is very, very good.

I don't know, but the only reason I have seen it out before is for cutting out on the lift hill.

Sugar in Tea
I have a really odd tea-drinking method. I usually have two cups a day. One in the morning with breakfast, which has no sugar in it. Then, when I get in from school in the afternoon, I like to indulge a bit more and have 2 sugars.

Kiss On A First Date?
I would only do it if I had known the person properly before we started dating. If I didn't really know them, then for me it wouldn't really feel right.

Closed Rides
It seems as though it's the website that has the reliability problem, not the actual rides.
-
Closed Rides
Oh no, I completely agree with that. It's just that Thorpe Park has been known to have poor reliability compared to other parks. But yes, it is improving significantly.
-
Closed Rides
I agree, but I do feel that there must be a small part of it that has something to do with Thorpe Park. Otherwise, why doesn't it happen anywhere else?
