No, I don't think I have seen who you are talking about.

Sorry, I was reading it quite fast anyway.

Before anyone has a go at me, I know I'm not a moderator but could you please put some full stops in that sentence. I literally can't understand what it means. Thanks

When I went last Monday, the station music was plenty loud enough.

They have that already. It sounds like the screaming on Duel.
  6. Probably Pirates of the Caribbean.Although to be fair, I haven't ridden a great deal of dark rides anyway.
  7. I've just found out that this date coincides with the second half of my holiday. I shall not be going.

    PS3Saw III or Saw IV?
  9. It must have been quite a good trip if one of the low parts was that you got wet on Logger's Leap.
  10. All I'm saying is that the last 5 times I have bought BB tickets, I have been asked to present my entrance ticket. They then have taken it and written on it, presumably so that I can't use it again in the future.EDIT: Tim is 100% correct. If staff don't ask you for your ticket, then they're not doing their job properly. It's just lucky that you have got away with buying a bounce-back ticket the last few times. I'm pretty sure that you are not eligible for BB if you have an AP.

Not entirely true, I've seen Flying Fish with a 45 minute queue before.

That's a good point. The website was inaccurate last weekend. It's not the first time either.

I have been out with my friends every day since Saturday, so today I thought I'd take a quiet day and not do much. It really annoys me how my parents keep on at me to go out today, when I have been out pretty much all of the time. It's my summer, I should at least be able to take a rest now and then!

That seems to be the only ride really at the moment that is suffering persistent problems. As mentioned earlier, Slammer hasn't been on the Unavailable list for a good while now.

I have only ever seen the Colossus booth closed once. Every other time I've been in recent years, both the Colossus booth and the Tidal Wave booth have always been open. When I bought fastrack I always used to go to the Tidal Wave booth, it always had the shortest queue.

I really think they should add fastrack to the benefits with an Annual Pass. They could raise the price of a Merlin AP to £300 for example, and have Unlimited Fastrack at all of the attractions for the entire year. I would definitely buy it!And if you think about it, the amount of people that go to theme parks that have an annual pass is definitely in the vast minority to those who just buy a single ticket, so the amount of people waiting in fastrack queues wouldn't go up by too much.

Back to general Fastrack....The only ride I ever buy fastrack for is Stealth. The reason being, I think it's the only ride in the park that offers an experience worth paying £4 for. Mind you, I'll only buy a fastrack if the queue is over 90 minutes, which to be honest is a rare sight these days.I used to buy the Adrenaline Fastrack quite regularly, but when it was taken out of circulation this year, I stopped buying fastrack all together. Queueing is not all that bad; it builds up the experience and let's face it, it's a part of theme park life.
  20. Wasn't Samurai in a different place?I agree with Sheepie, I think the ride was very fitting to the Lost City theme, much better than the Mystic East theme anyway. And Eclipse is a much better name in my opinion.
  21. Buzz Lightyear is the only laser blaster type-ride that I have come across where you can rotate the cars yourself.
  22. I love any ride that has an element of being able to control it yourself to it. I.e.: you can make the jumbos move up and down when you want. If anyone has ridden Buzz Light-year in Disneyland, you will know what I mean!

I don't mind queueing from the entrance for SAW.
  24. Paul replied to AHW's topic in Quick Questions
I hate queueing for rides with just busy cattlepen queues. I.e.: Logger's Leap, Samurai etc. You just feel like you are getting nowhere.

Even though I have used fastrack in the past before, I really don't think it is necessary. The majority of the queues are fast-moving, and most of the rides have high capacities. For me, just watching the rides on their cycle in the queue-line really seems to speed up the waiting time. Also, I actually prefer to have a 20 minute queue than a walk on. I know it sounds odd, but for me a ride is much more enjoyable after you have queued to go on it. Even 1-2 hour queues go really quickly for me. That's why the peak season at Thorpe really doesn't put me off going at all.
