But if you think about it, what difference is the combined weight of the riders going to make if the train already weighs 10 tonnes? . Not much.

  3. You're welcome . It's been a pleasure.

I'm sorry but ever since Slammer opened back in 2005, the problems have never come to an end. Open, then closed, then open again, then closed again. I do love Slammer, but I'm just getting sick of it all now to be honest. It's so unreliable.

I wouldn't worry about the train stopping on the top hat, and a previously sparked fire eating away at the train and riders. Something tells me it's not going to happen.
  6. Some good ideas there. Get on the phone to Thorpe. .

That is true - one Stealth train is roughly 10 tonnes in weight. But seriously, what is the chance of the train derailing?
  8. Oh my goodness, I love those lights! But I do agree, they don't add anything to the ride and it probably would be better without them, but I still love them .
  9. Wow, I am really impressed. I know how difficult and strenuous these things are to make, but again the detail on this recreation is fantastic.
  10. Honestly, I have to applaud your work. The attention to detail is incredible.
  11. The X Scream ride looks so unbelievably scary! I have to ride that one!
  12. I love the detail that goes into these Thorpe Park RCT3 recreations. The only thing is, that whenever I have more than about 10 rides built at once, the program really starts to slow down and the game instantly because so much worse. I just give up.

I completely agree. I love the theming of it. I think it would really add some much needed atmosphere to Calypso Quay. Also, like you say, it is a nice break from extreme thrills.

I haven't seen the actors but I think the best thing to do really is just to join the queue line with a completely open mind. Then you won't be disappointed, annoyed or anything else, just able to make your own decision on what the experience was like and how it did or didn't add to the atmosphere.

I have the MP3 on a CD which I have imported to my computer, but I don't know how to post a link on here. If anyone could tell me how, then you've got the tune .

I think that I much prefer the 2007 loading theme because I rode Nemesis Inferno for the first time in 2007. I think the music has just stuck in my head with the great memory.
  17. I agree with you, it is expensive for what it is. But comparing it to £6 for a photo, it doesn't seem so bad.

    Wow ok.
  19. The YourDay DVD will soon be operating on SAW at Thorpe Park. Currently, the service is unavailable. The DVD is advertised at the photo collect point as £12.00.
  20. I was thinking more of a 4* modernish hotel. If you look on the TP website home page, there is a picture of a hotel room under "Thorpe Breaks". I would imagine it to look something like that inside. Hopefully it will be of a similar standard to the hotel recently built on the CWOA site.
  21. I know it's a long way off, but does anyone know any more information about the hotel? Such as; What is the probable star rating of the hotel? Is it a chain hotel?

Is it just me, or did anyone much prefer the station music for Nemesis Inferno used in 2007? (I think it was used in 2007, it was only used for one season at the park). It was the one with the jungley drums and the high pitched pan pipes. I thought it was very much more suited to the theming of the ride.

Today is only the first day of both rides being unavailable for a while now. I wouldn't worry about anything, they will probably be up soon.

    Thanks.

In terms of the ride itself, I think it's a great attraction, and is the main iconic attraction for Thorpe Park. Obviously, many people are saying that Kingda Ka etc are better, which again is true, imo. But you have to think about the position of Thorpe Park, and the boudries that the area has. For a UK coaster in Surrey, I think Stealth couldn't be better in that sense.
