I agree, some peoples posts were jsut stupid, two word posts that wern't very useful at all, wheras some longer, more useful posts deserve a bit of reckognition. However, I can see the reason why it has gone, as it probably was open to abuse.Perhaps instead of a +1/-1 system we could have a useful/ not useful system, where members say whether they think a post contributes to the topic or is just plain silly. What do you reckon?

The post rating thing has gone!
  5. You were there yesterday? I went too and have to agree, it was great!Vampire is just brilliant in the dark! That tunnel... wow! It was truly the highlight of the day!I didn't do the black forest haunt, but I did do hocus pocus hall bewitched which had lots of jumps and laughs! I would rate it above most THORPE PARK mazes as Hocus Pocus Hall seemed to have many more jumpy moments!
  6. Today, they had sold out by 11:30, so I'd recommend getting your pass as early as you can.
  7. It seemed to be litterally booming today, it was making the floor vibrate!Still the same old music, but it seems so much better when louder. It adds a lot of athmosphere to the station.
  8. For anyone still wondering about the Black Forest Haunt:
  9. Yeah, at the moment the syncing is absolutely aweful.I totally agree with the bathroom scene, it is incredibly detailed with pipes, grime, urinals, tiles, a bath and even a sawn off leg, but you only see these things if you are looking out for them!Honestly, these things are so easy to miss, as it is in the middle of a speedy inversion, and the body also takes the attention away from the scene.I find that this scene benefits greatly from the dark, as when lit up properly, it seems to highlight all the detail that this scene has.
  10. The Brake run in the indoor section, with the air pumping at you.You may know them as syringes, but in the big arguement about it earlier this year as to what they were I thibk we established the were supposed to be crossbows.
  11. I would agree, on Thursday the ride just wasn't as good as it was with the mist.It just goes to show how important theming and effects are to how good a ride is!
  12. I couldn't agree more, Detonator has that 'Holy %!#? I just left my stomache behind' feeling that no other rides in the park can offer.
  13. Me and keith have allready had a nice arguement over her () via PM's!I lost!I know how much of a fanboy of the Vampire he is, I'll just stick with the original Nemesis.

  17. Oh dear, I'm not gonna stand a chance, am I?She's all yours! :DEDIT- Where did tpkabz get the pillow, it sounds pretty awesome!
  18. Haha, after my ride at the front I think we may by fighting over her! It's my baby now!
  19. Just got back from Chessington, after a very pleasant evening there.I got there at 4:45, and had a quick ride on the vampire, followed by walking on to the bubbleworks. (Yeah, I know )After this, we went straight to the rattlesnake and rode on it twice, followed by a quick visit to the sea-life centre.Once we got out of this, it was now dark and the atmosphere electric. The park was looking excellent, with pumpkins, cobwebs, and some great lighting effects. Whilst THORPE PARK tend to stick with a lot of the green lighting, Chessington really went out with red, pinks, blues, greens, strobes and fog effects, making all of the rides look excellent. We then headed back to the Vampire, where we had a ride in the front in the dark. (Bet this is making Keith really jealous!) The ride was brilliantly lit up, and a very enjoyable experiance. After this, there were around 10 minutes left until closing, so back to Rattlesnake to get 4 rides in a row!Overall, a great evening, I really enjoyed it and I thought the park have done excellently on the theming front.Well done Chessington!EDIT- I'm not sure what the Forest Haunt thing is, however I did see several actors walking towards that area wearing Victorian Style Costumes, presumably for this attraction.
  20. I'm off to Thorpe tomorrow after school!
  21. Yes, this effect has definitely been drastically improved. I got wet in the front row, and backrow edge, which shows that it has been adjusted very well. :lol:Crossbows are still a little crap though.
  22. Yeah, as I said we couldn't figure it out until told, its kindof a little tinny and unclear, though once told it's obvious!
  23. 'Freeze their souls!'I only know this is me and my friend were trying to figure it out when the person pressing the buttons heard us and told us.It's actually fairly obvious once you know it.
