I have an inset day Monday I went Thorpe on this day last year when it was literally exactly the same conditions, I would have classed it as a "medium" day where queue's in general were 15-45 mins, by no means quiet, but not packed

I think how unique and different it is to anything else in the park, or anything else I had experienced before. It really is a great ride with good theming.Whilst the ride is soul destroyingly slow at getting through the people, the ride at the end is quite a long one.

Airtime isn't the point of the ride, you may get a couple of little pops, but that isn't what makes or breaks the ride. It is deceptively quick though

The old tunnel did look a lot better from what I've seen from pictures, and also looked as if it'd be a lot darker. One of the things I'd like to be improved about the ride but very unlikely.POV of "Old" Vampire

Possibly as well as perfectly timed wolf howling noises as you enter and then again just as you swing out of the tunnel!

I assumed they were left from Hocus Pocus.God Vampire's tunnel was simply stunning during Hocus Pocus I wish audio could be played in the tunnel all year and then it be changed at Hocus Pocus.

That doesn't sound to good , But yeah as long as it's fixed for next week :DIt's a shame as the ride had such a good initial opening.I also agree it's an amazing ride, one of my favourite's with Nemesis and Fury <_<By the way, they're called wraiths!

You can only use 6 of the 18 pods ?So what's the usual throughput on it, and surely when it was first built it was able to?

Thanks Benin <_<And I agree, would be a much improved entrance! And that the building should have a facade added.Also I'm pretty sure I read 2004 was the last year that entrance was used, not 100% sure though.

I was wondering last night, what was the old layout of Vampire's queue when it went through the doors?Does anyone have any pictures/ be able to give a brief description of what it was like and also why it was changed?Thanks

Do you mean actual capacity or "capacity" when the park is actually closed so the business doesn't completely ruin everyones day?Usually at "capacity" I'd say all major coasters at 90-120mins, all/majority of flats from 60-90 mins.At actual capacity, well probably 3 hours for major coasters and 2 for flats.Well that's what I'd guess, but the usual things would effect the queue's like weather, rides available/reliability etc etc.Edit: Silly me, thought this was in the Thorpe sectionFor Chessington at "capacity" 60-90 mins for main rides such as Vampire, Fury, Tomb etc and 60 at most for almost everything else I'd assume.At actual capacity, it's not even worth thinking about

Yes <_<Rides open at this time are Nemesis, Oblivion, Runaway Mine Train, Hex, Sharkbait Reef and maybe one or two more

I love this ride (obviously not as much as themeparkmad!) But yeah, it's great when you get the the bottom of the 2nd lift and everyones like "that was good" and everyone who's been on before is thinking to themself thats not even the best bit. That or alternatively people think it's finished
