  1. Is it me, or is this Challenge more successful in the first 30 mins, than all of the other weeks combined
  2. Ha, thanks And because I think it's not great if I win my own challenge is it! :lol:Hmm...You haven't been allowed to enter more than 1 in the past, however this challenge you will be able to. :PMaximum of 2 though.
  3. Here's mine, just for giggles. Remeber I can't win/ be voted for :rolleyes:I didn't realise, I actually have a few decent pictures if I don't say so myself Edit: Seeing as there's been a change in my own rules, here's my all time favourite picture.Edit: So did I Sheepie, but for some reason that one wouldn't scale down and so I didn't want everyones computers to go crazy. But yes I do LOVE that picture
  4. Lets give this another go :rolleyes:A simple one, as an attempt to get lots of entries and then votes :DThis weeks challenge is to enter "Your personal favourite picture that you've ever taken of a theme park attraction/ride"Something for us all to get our theme park levels back up :lol:Entries must be... entered ( ) by New Years Eve, for the slow ones amongst us, that's the 31st of December, and the voting will then be started. Voting will be done in the usual way where all votes must be PM'ed to me, 2nd of January will be when the winner is announed.Good Luck Snappers,And a Very Merry ChristmasP.S. If we're thinking of the same picture, I 100% agree! The area looks so ( looking for a better word here ) "dark".I hope though, unlike Saw: The Ride, the theming carries on throughout the whole ride.Absolutely loving this so far and can't wait to experience this "Physcoaster"

I am so SO excited for this, I think when we see the theming complete and find the whole story behind the ride, Thirteen as a name will fit well. Everyone talks about the outside section looking tame, but flying through the "Dark" forest at quite a speed will be great. Also I'm hoping that we'll get some good airtime, as that is something ( in my opinion) we're missing in the UK.The whole project looks incredible to me
  8. I desperately want to go :rolleyes:But as I am the only one of my friends and family interested it wouldn't work out

I think it's great, and fits in with the whole ride and feel of the area. It looks like the theming is going to extend out into the forest where the main coaster section is in as well, which should be awesome I really can not wait for this!

How do you know that it definitely won't be painted green, it's more likely than any other colours. And prices may be lowered, but Rita's was lowered substantially more.

It is more likely than not that it is going to be re-themed/ re-branded.Rita merchandise had been at very low prices for the last half of the season
  13. I think that is just left from a couple of years ago.It used to be like that but I guess it changed as literally noone is prepared to pay for a map.I would be surprised if you do have to pay for a map next year.
  14. I agree , But also, at Chessington there isn't as many obvious changes for Halloween I don't think, like at Alton all the mazes and extra Halloween attractions are on there.
  15. I agree with Paul, I think for a park the scale of Alton a map is needed, at least for infrequent visitors. As for example you can't actually see the rides and then walk to them. Also there's not a particular route to go through, for example Chessington and Thorpe have a sort of circular shape which you can make your way around.
  16. He felt he would have struggled to find the time to start and then end the quiz this week.Answers, and scores will be released Sunday ( Tomorrow) Afternoon

I'm sure what you have to say is quite interesting, but I physically can't understand what you've typed...I suggest you read the " Tips for New members" Forum as well as, of course, the forums rules....
  18. No it's for next year, when they are releasing 2 types of Merlin Annual Pass I loved having a sort of unlimited ticket to loads of Attractions and ugh, it's just so annoying. Till now I've sort of understood a lot of Merlin's Money grabbing things, but this is just... I can't even explain!
  19. This week I'll be helping Matty22 with the quiz :oSo therefore I won't be able to enter this week, which means I'm going to get behind on points! :)Here are this weeks questions.1)When was the park bought by Tussauds?2)Name 6 of the 7 rides in Octopus Garden ?3)Name the 8 rides (not including Octopus Garden) which do not have Onride photos? 4)What piece of Samurai is still at Chessington?5) And where is it found?Good Luck, and if you have any questions, I'll have a go at answering them :)This Weeks quiz will as usual close on Sunday afternoon.
  20. I used to have Guinea Pigs when I was younger, and then I had a few fish, but so many died I ran out of names, I think the last one I had was imaginatively named number sixteen.
  21. Thanks for the update :)I really am so excited for this area, and for the whole of 2010, the re-launch is going to be amazing
  22. What!? <_<I must say I feel completely the opposite, and I think that all of Chessington's food that I've ever had, has been delicous...
