Awesome, just awesome . Glad to see that Octupus Gardens is leaving.
  2. I like the new site. It's like Thorpe's site, but better, more colourful, less tacky and less irritating. Just found a mistake on the subscribing page Fail .
  3. New Alex Reid/Thirteen picture(of all celebrities, why pick him AT). Anyway about that video, is "ultimate" all what Alex Reid can say, really impressed with the ride's train, looks very well themed.
  4. Finally launched Roller coaster XTREME version 2.0 http://rollercoasterxtreme.yolasite.com/

Yeah but isn't the Thorpe Waterski owned by Thorpe and that people hire it, if Thorpe do own it then they can scrap it to make way for the new coaster on the lake.

They can make more man made islands. Anyway that may not be necessary for the next coaster if it's going to be built over a lake as I said earlier on in the discussion .
  7. Going to Winter Wonderland today, I'll try and take photos._____________________________________________Just returned from Winter Wonderand, it was great. Power Tower was awesome, although not quite as intense as Detonator, it was a really fun ride. Black Hole was good intense at times, felt a bit unsafe in the ride's car though since the seat bets were not very tight and we weren't allowd to put our hands up as we may fall out. Spuk, possibly the worst ghost train I've been on. I was expeting the live actor to jump out, but he wasn't even there. Euro coaster (the inverted wid mouse) was a let down. the ride was jolty and sligthly painful. Bayern Kurve was good, although the ride experience was ruined due to fact that rain was blowing in my face and little sisters behind was digging into me making it a very painful experience. Euro coaster, what can I say, it was a painful ride and as boring as a French lesson. It's a shame that the Pinfari family coaster didn't return this year (it's at the 02's Chr'stmas Fair this year). Unfortunately there aren't much photos as the memory card was full up after 4 photos. I may return next week to take photos and go on the rides I missed out today.
  8. I don't think it looks tame, I think the drops and the turns look quite intense, the first drop is quite steep so the train should pick up a bit of speed and the rest of layout is down hill so the ride should be quite fast.
  9. Ok, so they did name it Thirteen . Mortalis is so much better. Oh well, just have to live with it. Anyone who thinks that it really will have a 16-55 age shouldn't worry because it won't, it's only a marketing gimmick.
  10. Thirteen I was hoping that it would be called Mortalis. But I read on Towers Times forum that this may not be real, hope that isn't the real name. Mortalis sounds better than Thirteen. Just sounds pathetic in my opinion. Imagine going to Alton Towers saying to your mates "oh lets go and ride Thirteen" it just sounds pathetic. It just doesn't have the same ring to it as Mortalis does. Mortalis sounds more Secret Weapon standard. Really hope that this isn't the ride's name.
  11. Really cool vid. But use different music next time
  12. Looks great. Heard that they're adding a dark ride in the Hogwarts castle. Though I would of preferred to of seen a Harry Potter area at a UK park.
  13. Darn that's expensive . Don't think it was that expensive last year.Just found on ride pov's for Spuk and the Black hole. Both rides look great. - Spuk WARNING SPOILERS - Black hole - found a video of the Black hole ride model
  14. Going in a few weeks. Can't wait to try out Power tower .
  15. An Aquatrax seems unlikely, Thorpe already have plenty of water rides, but I agree that X could be leaving sometime soon. If it were to be replaced, then I'll like to see either an X mark 2, with inversions and an acceleration or a dark ride that fits in with the Lost city. As I've mentioned before (can't remember if I did on this forum) then I would like to see one of those Indiana Jones type of ride .
  16. Maybe it would be a flat ride, maybe they'll get a simulator which will have onride footage of all their big roller coasters, The only thing that I can think of that could fit inside a hotel.
  17. That's great news. Look forward to staying at the hotel when it opens. Any way earlier in the topic someone mentioned a SAW themed room, I think that most people will have a problem with waking up in the morning and finding a corpse (fake obviously) sliced open, stuck in a trap with body parts and innards scattered across the room. I'll definitely pass on that idea . I've been told that there will be a ride linked to the hotel.
  18. It looks really good . Better than the previous logo. Funny that they're still using it on their site.
  19. Aqualand really isn't good. The one I went to in Torremolinos was terrible. As soon as we had entered the park, we were greeted by a wounded women crying out in pain with a paramedic. She had injured herself on the Black hole slide. The Super slalom slides were dreadful, I got stuck halfway through. Rapids was chopperblocked and we even spotted a water eel riding it . Also in the Tenerife Aqualand, I know someone who had been sent to hospital from swallowing some of the water because it was unclean. They don't clean the water in that place.
  20. They've now finished the map. It looks much bigger than last year http://www.hydeparkwinterwonderland.com/information.html.
  21. I think about about a pound or so for non-thrill ride tokens and thrill ride tokens about £3 - £5. Bring £30 or more with you.
  22. The attractions have now started to arrive. Looks like they're having more coasters this year . 9 days left .
