  1. Depends if security have access to the music control box (probably not, plus if they turned it off wrong then could get in further trouble)...
  2. Assuming this has a proper control box these days and is all automated, who left the key in the ignition?
  3. Just a thought, if a quick cash grab refurb is of this quality, imagine how good DisneySea's purpose built attraction will be...
  4. Wouldn't be a new Merlin ride unless SOMETHING thematic from the plans got scrapped...
  5. I think the projected face actually makes all the human animatronics look a bit iffy... The Olaf one by comparison looks amazing... 300 minutes though... In THAT queue? *dies*
  6. Benin replied to Theme Park bloke's topic in The Real World
No different to the politicians tbh...
  7. There are some strange people who like both Bakken AND Baco! I'd like to put forward El Condor at Walibi Holland on the list... By far the worst SLC I've ridden...
  8. Benin commented on Mitchada04's blog entry in A Year of Europe
Hydra is FABBBBBBB <3 I look forward to their next new cred, Asterix is really going on the right track with the new shows as well...
  9. Symbolic update: The ride area looks quite small to me, even though they'll still end up squeezing in loads...
  10. RMC

Benin replied to pluk's topic in General Discussion
Rumours were that the original plan for SW8 was a launched RMC in the Air car park, the rest as we know, is history... I'd see Thorpe getting one, but that's it... Drayton or Mingoland are the only other likely candidates to even consider one...
  11. Best solution would be a dedicated team just for clean up, nobody wants to clean the Bubbleworks stairs or dust the numerous cobwebs on Vampire every single day as a ride staff member... Staff empty bins, that is it... There is no real attempt at doing anything beyond that...
  12. It entirely depends on the real feedback they got from guests... Since NDAs were in place, opinions of those that might appear online cannot be trusted or believed as 'true'...
  13. They'd never get one of those, given Zamperla don't make wooden coasters...
  14. There's enough salt in here to fill a restaurant supply for a month... How else can they test the ride? I bet if they did do it out of hours there'd be the same people moaning that the park is being secretive and ignoring the paying public (even though they're trialing it with the paying public, just those at the hotel)... Damned of they do, damned if they don't...
  15. It opening will of course be dependent on the response from hotel guests... Woe betide being on here if it's negative and causes further delays...
  16. Benin replied to NickD's topic in UK Attractions
You can't moan about something being too low capacity and then call for Robo-Arms...
  17. It would be horrid, bear in mind how Vampire swings even now when approaching a turn... It judders along now and even the older version with the heavier trains would've been dreadful... It'd be down to the constant motion and moments acting on not just the train, but the swinging components as well... The train won't stop swinging in the inline due to how the Arrow suspendeds work (since they still swing when they hit brake runs due to momentum)... You have two separate sections of movement going on and then when you add in the inverted element and I really cannot see a way you could make it an enjoyable experience... Some rides weren't meant to include inversions...
  18. By looks of things it was because it "showed the park in a bad light"... Imagine if Towers did that this year... Or if Thorpe took exception to pics of Loggers... Didn't realise Mark, wonder what TPR would make of that, since half of their opinions if a park is based on how much ERT they get...
  19. After Phantafriends.de, its a very weird situation that the park seem intent on causing problems with fanboys... Any idea on the articles that caused the rage?
  20. Based off how imposing TTD looks when you're right under it, that structure is better than the minimalistic approach of Stealth... Still looks ugly and out of place though...
  21. People on here must HATE trying to get gig tickets... That's even more upsetting a situation to suffer large numbers of traffic... Has it really been a PR disaster beyond people moaning that they didn't get a deal? Compared to Thorpe's selling out BEFORE the time it was due to start?
  22. 2 days at Europa is pretty dependent on your opinion of park shows I'd say... Good day planning and efficient queues mean that you can do pretty much everything worth riding at least once in two days easy... Adding shows to the mix obviously means losing time though... Driving in Germany is fine, they're all pretty sensible (like most of continental Europe), just expect cars to suddenly appear out of nowhere in the fast lane of the Autobahn because they're driving at 150mph... Can't answer anything else really... Hotels are always a tricky subject and I stayed in Stuttgart last time I was in that area... I would suggest shunting Holiday Park and Tripsdrill in favour of Phannyland though... But that just complicates matters further...
  23. Be great to see them finish the entrance plaza with it (something that started with Maya Land and continued with the Theatre and waterpark)... Wonder how much it'll be...
  24. You know the first week of the summer holidays isn't actually that bad right? Tbh, Summer Nights would've been perfect for goons to go and whore out this thing... Shame they cancelled them...
  25. Yes, but the odds on being allowed to build in the valley are so unlikely... It's one of the reasons why the woodie barely breaks into the woodland...
