I'm not sure if this has already been discussed recently but by the look of things the grand old gold mine is receiving a well earned refurb, It has been fenced off whilst work happens.

Does anyone have any ideas or news of any upcoming new rides or attractions for next year or the near future, There has been a large empty space just behind infusion for a while now and was hoping maybe we would see a new coaster or water ride soon.. ??

What ever happened to the red lights in the tunnel, They only seem to have lasted for one season or so, Why couldn't Thorpe fix them when they fixed the mist this season ?

Rumba does look pretty sorry for itself now and does need some tlc before it just gets left to rot away, There is so many good examples from around the world of what can be done or it can be done with just a small budget to make it look much better then it already is.. Any ideas ??

Last time that I visited the park (21/03/11), I noticed the water guns in the splash zone were not working as were the same water guns at loggers leap, Why cant Thorpe keep these small things working within the park, It looked so much fun to soak people when they least expect it ??

I guess it is still just as bad then, I only wish they could of put some effort into this ride after all they have all of the closed season to work there (magic).

If you look close enough at storm surge on the map it looks like there is a boat which has crashed into the roof of one of the buildings in that area, Now wouldn't that look good if they actually did this or saying that have they over the past week ?

Very true Mark9, With all the madness and so many unpredicted guest numbers on AP day, I can certainly agree with you there, Nobody knew how busy it would be

Anyone got any ideas of how busy it will be next Monday 21st March, I am guessing all the kids will be at school so that should help keep the numbers down hopefully, I dont really like the idea of queuing up for hours on end, This is why I'm looking to go on a week day, Please help guys.. Much appreciated ??

All that Thorpe are getting is storm surge this year and nothing else, May be a new flat ride next year but I highly doubt it because we will be seeing LC12 coming to Thorpe, I think he may of got his ends tied up or maybe he is telling porkies, Ummmm ??

Any ideas guys, It would be a great help if you can help in any way ??

Just a quick question, I collected the sun thorpe park vouchers last year which entitles you two free tickets to enter the park on any one day this year but does this mean you can just go up to the gates and use your ticket there or do you need to queue with the ticket from the sun and then get a new ticket from the kiosk, It will just save time queuing at the kiosks.. Looks as though thorpe are doing something with all that scaffolding and the box on top, I do hope we some more theming around that area because it does look like a construction site still and such an eyesore

Great review sheepie, I can understand where your coming from.. The smallest things wrong with the park are also the biggest in our opinion, GET IT SORTED THORPE !!

So if they have already started/finished infilling the lake then it must mean we may get a new ride in this spot next year ?

Dirt always seems to mean something good when it comes to Thorpe park, Wish I knew what they are at ????

Anyone now where about this is, It looks like its just on right of the entrance bridge, I'm guessing there may be a new ride or attraction on this new piece of land or maybe an extension to the bridge.Antone got any ideas ??

I think the number one worst guest would queue jumpers, We all queue up quietly and at the respect of the other quests, We need staff in the most busy queues to keep on eye on queue jumpers and have them kicked out of the park forever including other parks.

I am looking to go on the 21st of march but with thorpe park recently just opening on the 17th I'm just interested if its going to be busy or not, It is a school day so I'm sure that should lower guest numbers but still with a new season and new ride I'm thinking it could be slightly busy.. Any ideas guys ??Thanks guys :P
