    Hi, When I was in the queue opening weekend I heard safri duo played alive (2001) been played. I believe DJ Jean The Launch (1999) was played to.

    I spoke to some staff today that had rode Derren Brown Ghost Train yesterday. I also got asked by a member of staff if I planned to attend the opening day. Do you think that indicates that there may not now be a soft opening?

    I saw the fire effects today for the first time. I was quite suprised they was on so often especially based on how much they cost.

    Hi Celia, I like this idea as it makes us aware of who plans to attend etc. I think it would good if the meet event on the Calendar could some how be linked into the comments about the meet so its all in one place. Possibly when it's announced reminding people to RSVP would help. A layout that merges the calender with the meets into one place on the forum iny opinion would be the best way to achieve this I feel.

    Hi Celia, I definitely would be interested in this. I do work some weekends and my schedule is quite busy with park visits and some family visits to. Would be well worth coming to Thorpe to do this with you guys. Please do keep me posted. I really enjoyed doing the coaster climb and I'm sure BTS would be great fun .

    Very excited about Taron and Phantasialand in general. Hope Taron is open this autumn. Look forward to seeing the trip report. Cant wait to visit later this year.

    I think it is safe to say music wise it ain't going to be great. That is such shame from what used to be a big clubbing brand. Maybe its just the general state the dance music scene is in these days.

    Have come to the conclusion that I will visit Thorpe as often as I can. If Derren is open when I visit that will be a bonus. I guess it will open when it is ready.

    Thanks Pluk for the info. I'm looking forward to the event. If I'm honest I dont think MOS is the clubbing brand it used to be. I'm sure the event will be a good laugh.

    Naturally people are disappointed and I get that. I know how big this attraction is but also know how important it is that its fully finished and ready when it opens. Its just unfortunate we have to remain patient and wait a little longer. I still believe it will be worth the wait.

    I took a ride on this on Monday. Was a great cycle. Not one to ride straight after lunch but the anti sickness tablets worked wanders.
