I hope they don't bring the blocks back, it worked well when the ride travelled backwards but made for a dull coaster experience when they were briefly used after the ride was turned forwards in 2013. I still think this is a daft decision and that the money would have been better spent elsewhere.

What a dull and uneventful Christmas special. Capaldi deserved a much better send-off than that; the episode was focused far too much on the first doctor and Bill being brought back (seemingly just for the sake of it - a shame as she could have done more than one season IMO) and didn't actually go anywhere or introduce a proper villain. The only saving grace was Murray Gold's score, but apparently he's leaving?! Bring back stories like The End of Time - now THAT was how you send off a Doctor!

Trauma Towers was the combination of two former standalone attractions, The Haunted Hotel and the Tagada. I only ever went through the attraction once, but recall it being very dark in places with multiple routes, uneven flooring (I remember walking across a wooden plank over water?!) and then the Tagada, which was themed to a dining hall, was great fun. I'm sure some of the lighting must have been broken on my walkthrough, as information online describes much more in the way of scenes than I remember seeing. Many of the scenes from Trauma Towers are now used in the Ghost Train, particularly in the lower level towards the end of the ride. In addition, the gargoyle located in the garden scene (on the left as you enter the scene) used to spit water over riders on the Tagada. I don't have much in the way of photos of Trauma Towers, but this is one from Vampire Beach 2016 where the windows were illuminated; (Could this topic form part of the main BPB thread?)

Visited Dreamland during the Frosted Fairground event today (first time visiting) and wow, what a lovely park! I was very impressed with the way everything is landscaped, there's greenery, everything looks fresh and the park is very well presented as a whole. The night-time lighting is amazing and combined with the music made for a really nice festive atmosphere - also, 9pm close in December?! Scenic Railway is great fun, whilst not a thrill ride as such it's delightful to see a heritage coaster rebuilt and operating again, and there were a few moments of airtime in the back of the car. There is more than enough to entertain for an afternoon and evening, and I cannot recommend the Frosted Fairground event enough. Will definitely have to look into visiting for Screamland next year!

Yeah, the 2013 playlist was brilliant - I used to go on X just to listen to the music! Anyone remember the amazingly sinister orchestral music it used to have as X:/ No Way Out? So many memories of this!

I quite liked it as there was still a mix of audio in the queueline, whereas I think the island theme worked well in the pyramid as you spend very little time in there - therefore the benefit of having a long playlist was somewhat wasted.
