Part one of my Trip Report. As far as I am aware last Sunday was the first time I have ever had to scrape snow off of my car before a Theme Park trip. It was also possibly the earliest I have ever arrived at a park before opening. Where is everybody? Once the team had arrived we hit the rides. Here Peaj and other TPM members get ready to ride Detonator. Later on Mark9, was one of the last two players competing in the TSMTTT... the TPM SWARM Merlin Top Trumps Tournament! But in the end scarycoasterboy was the winner of the March 2013 heats. I have to admit that Tidal Wave was looking quite nice on Sunday... But who would be foolish enough to ride it in the almost freezing weather? Find out in part 2!

I'm still really looking forward to tomorrow. At the moment it looks like we will be dressing up warm, drinking quite a few Hot Chocolates/Teas/Coffees and riding the two B&Ms!

This may come as a bit of a surprise considering how I have been dead against chart music playing throughout the park in the past, but I personally think "The Noise" is a definite improvement over the way that the chart music has been used in the last few years. With its mix of new music, DJ announcements (albeit pre-recorded) and park adverts it slightly reminds me of the good old Thorpe Park Radio days!

I had such a great time on Friday, thanks again to Thorpe Park, TPM and Peaj! MattyMoo I have a feeling this comment may actually be about me, it was certainly a very snug fit with the four of us guys in that log... On the plus side I have never been so drenched on Loggers Leap! I can't wait to see more photos and videos from the day!

I'm really glad to see that we all appear to be thinking along the same lines in regards to dressing for summer vs. freezing.

I was wondering how other members had interpreted the 'light' section of the dress code. Does this just mean light in colour e.g. bright blues, reds, yellows etc? Or does this mean light in the sense of a 'light' summer jacket?

I seriously can't wait for this! Thanks Thorpe Park and TPM for this great opportunity.

Archive you have made my day with the Sculpture Studios videos! They are such a great find and "right up my street" so thanks for sharing them.

I am currently free for all the dates and really looking forward to this meet! I shall be attending the Full Meet, however I will not be skating but will definitely spectate.

I am loving American Horror Story Asylum too, it's amazing! They have really upped the ante with this season, each episode has been fascinating with so many developments in the story and we are only 5 episodes in (at the pace of FXUK)! I also think that the title sequence is even more impressive and disturbing than last years which I thought would be hard to top. Talking of disturbing... this song is surely on its way to become a cult horror classic theme!
