I went to the park today and will post a full trip report tomorrow at some time, but the actors did make me laugh, at the start as everyone was running over the bridge, two of them decided the best thing to do would be to put a barrier in the way

People will be complaining that you can see stealth from the island next. In all honesty I have yet to ride the swarm, but by the reception on here I have high hopes. I just hope thorpe have pulled this one out the bag

I am going on Saturday and now can't wait just wondering, can you access the island by going round the back of depth charge, and is this quicker than going over neptunes beach and past flying fish?

I've had a read through it, and it looks really interesting. I don't think this is the sort of ride for Thorpe though, maybe Chessington or Alton Towers, especially if you're going for the more family friendly angle

I just cant resist the turn after the Inclined loop. The right side looks so low

I used exit passes twice, and on fright nights there was no queue

The 3 times I went on storm surge last season I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't queue more than 10 minutes for it. It's not exactly thrilling but it's a fun ride if you want something else to do for a little while. I think my opinion may be biased by the fact that I never waited more than 2 minutes for it though

I thought the point of a ride it first competition was to be the very first people to ride it (other than staff) not the first people after a bunch of celebrities and RAF pilots...

The large looking coaster is probably the seven dwarves mine train, or orphan rocker version 2. It's basically a cross between a mine train coaster, and a swinging coaster.

Shambhala just looks incredible, I really need to get back to PortAventura. Last time I went was before furius baco was built

^ I agree. It is in no way fair for them to be given complimentary exit passes because they're famous. If they have so much money why not just buy fast-track?

I have a feeling I know what the next news story will be: test dummies have arms and legs burnt after testing of Thorpe park's new ride!

I really can't wait for this now.I wonder if now that fire is confirmed, that they will actually be reinstating tidal wave's fireball. I for one hope they do
