I'm still very much sitting on my side of the fence. Cats are cute, I just don't wish to spend my life looking at their pics. I have aspirations ya know

Cos there is more to life than looking up cat memes/cat videos! Duh
-
I just assumed it was male. I, unlike some people, don't spend my whole life browsing the internet looking up cat memes.

THAT GIF These nights are definitely something I would do! I've always wanted to go to a roller disco - I swear I was born in the wrong decade...

Park visits this year may now be quite restricted - Merlin parks are a bit easier as I have an annual pass, but it looks unlikely that I'll be doing any non-Merlin UK attractions... Monies is needing to be saved for PortAventura and Florida.

Hi Emily! Welcome to the Mania hub forums! Of course you are welcome here - it's always nice to have new members around. Some members know more than others, but there are always opportunities to learn new things and any input is welcome I hope you enjoy being a member on this forum - we're all nice and friendly really

Hmm, I'm seeing some similarities in these lists... Anywoodles, this is a nice idea for a thread! Mine aren't in any particular order. Some I'd like to do before I'm 30, some are just general things. I've been cheeky and edited this post to basically copy Josh, except the ones in teal are "soon to be completed" rather than actually done. 1) Finish my degree, preferably with a 1st! 2) Learn to drive (will be doing that this year - I've delayed it enough!) 3) Become a Forensic Psychologist 4) Revisit DLP 4) Do all of the major European parks at least once (Ticking off PortAventura this year) 5) Florida! (Roll on 2014!) 6) Do the West Coast of America (Vegaaaaas baby!) 7) Visit Africa (Egypt is a must!) 8) Visit Australia and/or New Zealand 9) Get married 10) Start a family 11) Learn to swim (LOL) 12) Visit New York 13) Go to Cedar Point 14) Get another tattoo (likely to be after I've had kids) 15) Move into a place of my own (student accommodation doesn't count) 16) Swim with dolphins 17) Get a Masters in Forensic or Clinical Psychology 18) Overcome my irrational fear of spiders 19) Give blood 20) Become an organ donor 21) View the Northern Lights 22) Own a pet snake (although IanNem ain't too hot on this...) I can't think of anything else at the moment, but I'm sure I'll add more at another time.

6/10... your pic still really freaks me out.

Trip reports should be written in the blog section That way they won't disappear into the archives months down the line, so will be readily available and MUCH easier to find in the future So if Peaj writes his report as a blog it will be very easy to find years on from today, whereas if he were to write it in this thread it will disappear into the archives and require a huge amount of digging around to find again in the future. But ultimately it's up to Peaj!

Well the problem is I'm not good with heights at the best of times (although I did Big One last year and was fine, so maybe I'm not as bad as I used to be?), but I also am not a huge fan of drop towers I guess I will see how I feel when I'm out there - pretty sure the other 3 are going to want to go on, so I'll either have to brave it or sit by myself for a while

Well yeah, for most products the use by or best before date isn't actually accurate - most have a shelf life far greater than what is printed on the product. This milk was pretty much solid though. That's NOT okay.

Erm, we do? Please show me where 'they' are Unless you mean there are already a ton of polls about whether or not Thorpe should get a topsin...?

You'd be constantly greasy too Although saying that, I wouldn't actually turn down a job at McDonalds. A job is a job, and it's not like I'm gonna be there forever... (and this is when my degree fails me and I end up fat and homeless xD )

Well, sorry to disappoint.

You really shouldn't be lying to your parents about attending a TPM meet... 1) You're bound to get in a load of trouble if they were ever to find out 2) By lying about it you're making us look like a bunch of paedophiles, which we're not 3) As Benin has said, TPM doesn't condone the telling of lies to parents Ask your parents. If they say no, just live with it. It's not the end of the world, and there will be plenty of other meets that you will be able to attend in the future

Urgh, so disgusted with my flatmates. I haven't gone home yet for Easter (with the exception of a surprise trip there for my birthday, but that was only for 1 day), and I've been staying with Ian rather than in my halls. My flatmates are total slobs, there's no denying it, and I knew they hadn't cleaned their food out of the fridge before going home. My plan was to just leave the fridge alone, as it wasn't my mess, and let them deal with it when they come back next week. However, I'm back in my room for the day as Ian is at a stag do, so I'm needing to cook for myself, and I have some food I need to store in the fridge. This is what I was greeted with... (I'm not even sure what that was...) There are more, but I think you get the idea... It's just absolutely disgusting. It smelt like something died in there, and I found products WAY past their expiry date, e.g. a carton of milk that expired on March 4th (it was more solid than liquid inside...). I try to rarely buy food that requires refridgerating as we only have a small fridge (the banes of being part-catered), and I quite often eat at Ian's, so I had NO idea it had got this bad. It's vile. So I've chucked EVERYTHING that was in there out, and given it a thorough clean. I think the worst part is that I can still smell/taste the mould, and I'm still coughing EDIT: Went and made a formal complaint about it. Got an appointment with the Student Support Manager on Monday

Well this has certainly made me really excited for my trip in September Looks like you had an awesome time, and your pictures are great! It looks like a beautiful place. That's your summer for this year though There is no way I'm going on Hurakan Condor... too high for my liking
