Well that definatly finally seals the deal of me ever going on this ride. At 6'7 it's just not going to happen.
  2. I guess as I was just on my own and was only really there to see the bus.
  3. Went today after a long interview. No queue. The bus ride is definitely one of Merlin's best attractions, its a shame they can't just build a load of these. Even if WC16 took on this sort of ride system I would be happy seeing as I was expecting some sort of Madedeme Tussawds esk bus ride. Although the 4d wasn't the best the ride felt intense. Skipped the photo section at the end.
  4. I change my mind I'm now thinking the stanley parable which uses that cheat code. Fits the idea of this "voice" talking to us. Could fit a DIY coater as the game is based on choices. However the industrial theme? It's a game based on mind control guys!!!!
  5. I would guess one side for a queue line (those circle tent?!) and then a large rectangle tent on the other side for the actual maze. As hopefully the queue line will be under covered/themed.
  6. The shape surprises me. I would of thought that a rectangle curse style tent decorated to be in circus colours would of meant a much larger maze.
  7. The question is why has Gerstlauer not been brought into the news yet. My bet is definitely on human error.
  8. It's at studio 13 building. Once again no flat ride. Can't imagine a high budget for this so the only benefit of this is the 2016 attraction. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. After reading views on the queue lines, got me thinking don't all the sound stages at universal have a cattle pen round the back like the one in Thorpe plans? As well as how don't we know that the queue goes around the whole building inside like X?
  10. Well at least it looks like the attraction will have a long queue line (that outdoor cattle pen looks large) meaning that Thorpe must be investing big. Still disappointed that there's no roller-coaster though. And what does this mean for 2015? Will we still get a new flat ride? If not hopefully a park wide cleaning.
  11. I completely disagree: It will, be like the first week of Fright Nights. There won't be many coaches which generally fill up the park unless Thorpe having been offering free entry I think it will be much quieter than this last week.
  12. Wahoo that means I will be going again this year!
  13. As seen by the background it will just be a new African animal seen at every other zoo, but chessington do not have yet,
  14. Well I guess we can expect the same in terms of gates closing for all this week now. This is a good thing though as it shows a very high demand for fright nights this year meaning that we should get great investments into next years event. For example comparing bwp with last year, I'm sure they wet not expecting as large queues as there were and so the put a larger amount of time and effort into it this year. I'm sure next year we will see a greater amount of roaming actors to keep people occupied as well as the addition of a new maze as I'm sure we can all see that the money is there.
  15. My take on fright nights at the moment: As we have seen the hype for fright night this year seems to have drastically increased! And so for future years I think we need another 2 mazes added (on the beaches) either lionsgate ips or thorpes own mazes to help with the large queue times and maybe bring them down to around an hour on peak nights. Also why unlike towers is fright night not open for 2 weeks in a row to give people the option to go on a quieter night.
  16. Dilemma do I go this afternoon? My mates got a tesco voucher ticket and I've got a premium annual pass ticket?
  17. Ok to stop the park from going over capacity the answer as to what Thorpe should do is simple: Stop all vouchers and promo codes for the events making it either that you pay the £50 on the door or book in advance, for a cheaper price, as people either will or wont pay the £50 on the day in theory making the park less crowded whilst TP still gain the gate revenue they want. This should also include tesco vouchers.
  18. Good to know I will be back on park tomorrow

    Rush

I had two short swings last night? It confused me.
  20. they did it last year as well didn't they?
  21. Guest services looking surprisingly quiet in that photo.
  22. Surely as a part of this test there should be a day where NO FASTRACK IS SOLD. And so the queue times can be compared and Thorpe can be shown the real impact fastrack has on queue times.
  23. Review of tonight: Cabin in the woods:6/10 Average, I did not find it scary and thought that it was basically straight in and out with the reoccurring theme of actors blocking you off rather than scaring you. Saw alive: 5/10- Too be fair it was a bit boring seeing as halve the props don't work and actors just walk up and down, not really acting. MBV -6/10 A definite step back from experiment ten. Although you could now see all the setting which was quite nice it just felt rushed from beginning to end and lacked intensity. Studio 13- 7/10 Good acting and enjoyed the bit where you line up and the actors stare you down seeing as this was the only part of the night where I actually felt intimidated. However I much prefer the strobing of Asylum and it's layout. The maze felt to wide and roomy in a way. Maybe it's just that I miss the Asylum and actors moving from scene to scene but the actors just weren't scary they just looked like normal Thorpe park staff in a way. BWP - 8/10 They must of seen last years queues and thought wow we really need to make this attraction better and wow they did a great job! Falling back from the group me and my mate did this maze on our own and the actors were great hoping out when least expected. At one point I either scared an actor or my reaction to her sent her into a laughing fit. The finale had greater intensity and overall it was a great attraction! defiantly the strongest this year/! Overall it was very crowded for a Friday night with 2 hour min queues for mazes, luckily we had my friends yellow band however I am reconsidering going again next week to stand in 2 hour long queues for weak attractions. The roaming actors seemed fun but apparently you cant take selfies with them. I would rate this years event 5/10. I believe fright nights is becoming over hyped and just way too crowded. I can't imagine what it will be like tomorrow seeing as it was probably over capacity (if such a thing) today.
  24. Loving how bad the weather reports are for Friday! It keeps changing lol
