  1. I agree the zoo gives Chessington an advantage the other parks are lacking. I can't take family to Thorpe now that they've removed the toddler specific rides, which means I don't go. But all the family can be thoroughly amused in the zoo and of course it's a great place to pass time while you're waiting for something else. Plus, with the zoo being open in winter and the additional rides they've been opening along with it we're getting to a point where we have a year round theme park.
  2. Personally I wouldn't fancy going on a ride that looks like it's being held up with garden canes, call me a wuss.
  3. Wait so, despite work having not even begun on Runaway train we're not allowed to ride it and on top of that as a direct consequence we will only have limited use of Flying Jumbo's? Well that's incredibly poor.
  4. It's quieter around here....is that a perma ban or a weeks cooling off ban, may I ask?
  5. What sort of day should I expect if I were to head to the park Friday the 26th? I'm assuming queues won't be a big problem, does that mean fewer 'sideshow' services on offer?
  6. I love the sound of Rameses Revenge, it's always worth finding a reason to hang around and listen to it for a while. And the bonus sounds the riders make as it slowly tips them over the lowers them into the dancing streams of water.
  7. Neither is Rameses Revenge. It's the sort of ride 'hard-core' thrill-seekers would go on after they've done all the big rides.
  8. What about those little stones, they're environmental, kinda? Would sure be better then letting it turn into the bog of eternal stench every summer.
  9. I'd have paid real money to see that!
  10. I'd take you Topsyturvy15, only I don't drive and am pretty much stranded on this hill. But hey, I know your pain.
  11. The dudes just trying to be helpful, I like it when people post pictures.
  12. You mean the bickering? Oh yes we get it plenty too.
  13. Thanks man that'd be great, just in time too.
  14. But I don't want Transylvania to be 'happy' I want it to be fun. And a haunting atmosphere with scary music is fun. Plus having the are lean towards being macabre makes the BubbleWorks all the more whimsical. And if it does scare the kids away that works doubly well for me.
  15. "Now, eventually you do plan to have Dinosaurs animals on your Dinosaur animal tour, right?"
  16. Yeah but being tame suits Chessington's target audience. If you think of it as a 'my first flume' experience then it's exactly what it needs to be.
  17. Hey guess who left that comment on the video...
  18. So as I see it this ride needs three things before it can be worth a ride. > Time, for the foliage to grow in and the animals to become more tame. > Sunny weather, so you can at least try to make-believe you're in Africa > And alcohol.
  19. I think I heard it tends to get a lot of gypsy attendees on Easter Sunday's?
  20. Dragon Falls becomes Wet Slide. Worst re-theme ever.
  21. And you're right, in a perfect world every animal would live in the location it evolved and adapted itself to live in. But I guess in a perfect would there would be no people.
