All zoo's have rats too. The gorilla enclose always has them bouncing around in the hay, I think I have some on film. But bird feeders are big a rat beacon, so you have multiple draws in the lorikeet enclosure.

Well there's the likelihood the drains go back to when the property was a rolling estate. The last time it burnt down and was rebuilt was in 1919, but the previous plumbing may well have been intact still. But they could have redone all that when the site became a theme park in 1987. There could be come Victorian systems combined with new systems, that's always a recipe for disaster.

I'm betting the drains up there are super old and super falling apart.

Well, the ride lost most it's theming after the Ribena contract ended, it could sure use something.

I was thinking. As it seems this ride will see no major improvements anytime soon they should take the ranger figures from the now defunct carousel, line them along the banks of the ride and rename it Ranger Rapids.

I also assumed that the majority of what we would consider interesting building works would happen during the parks closure, so I never expected to see anything truly exciting till March.

Fantastic free advertising there, bring the kids to the totally deserted queue-free theme park this summer.

Trick or Treat in the Woods sounds very intriguing. Although, outside of Transylvania I'm pressed to think of what other woods they have.

The audio problem is quite irksome, considering you can download the full tracks pretty easily. I wonder if they're still using the same sound system since the 90's?

The oldies here are less likely to moan as much, we've already become accustomed to things not being as good as they were when we were kids.

If it were me I'd hold off on marketing till after summer. You want people focused on what's coming next, once you have them in the park for Fright Night's that's the time to give them a reason to come back in the new year. Plus, with the way the press has been demonizing theme parks after the Smiler Incident it probably would be better to wait till the dust has settled a bit and give this new project clean air.
