Get rid of a load of rides to fit 1 in? I can't see that happening. Also it'd probably make the place look kinda cluttered (although arguments can be made that Storm Surge does this anyway) because it'll be quite close to a lot of other things, and most likely ruin any views of the whole park from the Dome. I'd just like to see X:\ refurbished, I think it'd be great with a bit of love. Also, surely they wouldn't leave X:\ SBNO because the massive pyramid would look worse than Slammer when that's down.
  3. I live not far from Longleat and go there every now and again, it's always a satisfying day
  4. I am impressed that they're literally marketing it as sleeping in a shipping container, looking at the promo images. Good job guys.
  5. First thing I thought was Saw.. but I guess the black would fit quite well, especially with part of it being dark/inside.

Oh wow, if this actually happens, that would be brilliant. I can see both sides of the turning-the-trains-around thing.. It would be less unique but less nauseating. Which in turn may mean it's less thrilling, in a sense. But we shall find out.
  7. Because I'm poor and at least several hours from any of them, unfortunately none
  8. Wow, just thinking about it - Swarm will look amazing come Fright Nights, with the LEDs and -possible- fire effects.
  9. Even though I've already made a few posts (and I really hate having to bump topics), just thought I'd say hi! I'm Craig, 18, from the middle of Wiltshire.. don't often get to go to theme parks, but managed to get to Thorpe twice in the last year, and I've grown very fond of the place. Cracked my Rollercoaster fear (I know, silly) there on Inferno last October, and have since taken on a few more.. Despite steering away from Saw and Stealth. Heights/vertical drops are not my kinda thing, I'm much more into the kind of thing Inferno offers. Last visited for 2 days in August: Stealth re-opened after being closed for nearly a week during the second day. Anyway, yes, enough blabbering, and hello! :3
  10. When my sister had her business-type-lecture there, they mentioned NOTHING about a 2013 ride, not even that there was one originally planned (see Swarm Marketing thing) and it's been scrapped... which to me says they've got something up their sleeve.

Yeah, even thought SS isn't the best ride by a long shot, it seems the park is more eager to recover the vast space covered by the equally non-fitting old stuff, and as previously mentioned, SS would actually cater to more people then, due to rides with a similar point being removed. My only concern is the Fish may be a little out of place with the ride removals..

Hey guys, sorry for the bump, but I've been lurking for a while and thought I had something vaguely valuable to contribute - not sure where it fits.. Basically, my sister attended one of those lecture-school-thingys at Thorpe on Monday, and she was told how Swarm hadn't bought in as many people as they expected (basically, it flopped) so all the hotel money is going to Legoland in America (whaa?) and it's unlikely we'll get a 2015 coaster. Also, they plan to demolish Neptune's Beach, Wet Wet Wet, and Depth Charge (in that order) for new stuff.
