  1. And I think they're using the original scores to all the movies. Sounds obvious, but I found a little something that hinted towards it.
  2. When people compare this to Universal's effort, it makes me want to scream. Guys, we know Thorpe are trying to recreate HHN's success, but Thorpe's budget is almost non-existent when compared to Universal's. Stop getting so upset when it doesn't look as impressive as anything in Orlando. If you're that bothered, get your butt down to Heathrow?
  3. Why would you put actors on the rides? The capacity would drop even further, and that's the last thing the park needs.
  4. The Virgil was apparently awful so I doubt Neil Harris took a lot of inspiration from that!
  5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V7DsV6TNPlQ The trailer is here! Slightly disappointed but I wont let a trailer stop my excitement!
  6. ^ I think for a Dead Silence maze to work, there has to be moments of complete silence, and obviously you won't always get that in a scare attraction. Although I would have loved to see one at Fright Night!
  7. I really don't see the big deal. If you think it's going to "ruin the event", do us all a favour and stay and home. I don't need the extra queue!
  8. ^ Would be a hilarious place for a scare zone. Running around being chased by monsters on a fake beach.
  9. ^ Pretty sure old wood is cheap?
  10. The gasmask dude is seriously creeping me out :/
  11. Maybe the 'first vertical drop' on a woodie could be a possibility.
  12. Cabin In The Wood, an "interactive maze..." Hmm. Could be interesting.
  13. Not everyone has the same opinion on coasters. Ride Shockwave and make your own opinion!
  14. Just blindfold guests and make them walk on inclined treadmills? Basement = Done.
  15. From below they will both look massive. So does it really matter?
  16. Compared to older ones, they are. Alton Towers' attendance rose that year.
  17. In 2012, the year Swarm opened, attendance fell by 9%. How is that not bad? And what I'm saying is, the park advertised it as intense. And pretty much none of the new B&M coasters are intense. I think they will only buy another coaster from them if they were to market it as a 'family coaster', like PA did with their hyper.
  18. ^ Because B&M are quality <3 I just don't see them going with B&M soon, after the 'failure' of Swarm. Mack? Perhaps. But I would be slightly put off buying an Intamin coaster considering all the accidents that have happened recently (Shoot the Rapids, Furios Baco etc.)
  19. ^ Gold Striker is the same as any other GCI. They need to start changing otherwise many of their coasters will look the same. Besides, GCI's best coaster will always be... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unocjGOPRUM So unique and different <3
  20. I think the RMCs at the Six Flags parks are gross to look at, but Outlaw Run just looks beautiful. It might be because the red rails make the coasters look ugly.
  21. Swarm's layout isn't that bad in my opinion. The loop-thing after the zero-g roll is boring as hell, but the rest is decent!
  22. Yeah they are definitely not trustworthy, and those posters are so fake it's quite funny actually. I agree that we may see an announcement this week!
  23. I didn't say it isn't working, I said I (personally) am bored with it. Besides 20 comments on Facebook isn't exactly 'massive hype' now is it haha.
  24. I was also being sarcastic. I know a lot about how marketing works, I'm just slightly bored of the writing on a black square.
  25. Loving this high budget marketing from Thorpe.
