In fairness on the compare passes page for the Merlin pass site it says.....
THORPE PARK
An event booking fee will apply to Fright Nights and other special events at THORPE PARK regardless of the time of entry or departure;
But only regarding standard passes, the text doesn't appear for premium passes. It's on the side tab bit saying 'Your Quote Summary' here: http://www.merlinannualpass.co.uk/compare-passes.aspx
So I would assume that Premium holders shouldn't have to pay, though it is only a fiver if I am wrong and I would be fine paying that XD I just like cutting corners

What on earth does this mean?! The standard ticket for this is £15, unless it is an evening event, which it is, so it is £5. Huh?
Maybe there are some kind of extra events during Summer Nights going on you can pay for or something? Isn't a fiver the price of the mazes during Fright Nights? Could be some confusion with that or something new in Summer Nights they haven't mentioned yet
Or it could just be another Thorpe mistake XD Either way Premium Pass this year means I shouldn't have to worry about prices -

Not everyone that goes to the meets have annual passes - you could BOGOF with someone?
True......... even so I don't know if I'm ready to meet you guys yet XD The trip reports are encouraging and all but I just don't know yet.
Besides It's too far in advance for me to know whether I'm doing anything around then yet!

If I had my annual passes at that point I would probably go but I won't be picking those up till June/July. Hope it's as fun as the trip reports seem to portray them as

I think there are a couple with the different games like Rio but since they only have the license for the main thing I doubt there's more than one, you bring up a good point though, I'm not sure how I would feel hearing Angry Birds Music around the place! XD Hopefully it'll just be sound effects/announcements or something.

When I went to this it was honestly the greatest experience I had ever had at the park. It helped that it was the first time I had been in the dark but it was the also the first Summer Nights event meaning that there were very small amounts of people around meaning we got a ton of rides in! Also the staff seemed so much happier and livelier whilst we were there!
There were two particular events that just made this amazing for me, firstly we went on Tidal Wave and were basically the only ones there and the staff were joking around with us. The water was soooooo cold! We came back from the first drop and they jokingly said that we could go again and we jokingly protested but round again we went and then back we came and again they sent us around saying 3 times is good luck! It was all in good spirits though
The other event was on X where the guy at the ride station was just generally really happy and friendly, we kept going back on to see him again and he was just happy to see us every time XD Then later he and this woman switched places so he was manning items and as we came off he let us through the other 'secret' doors to go straight back to the station and ride again! This was such a great event and I will definitely be there again and since I have a pass now hopefully more than once!

Sorry I'm a bit late on the ball on this but when I went to Thorpe in mid July time I noticed that Rumba wasn't open and going nearer the area and whilst on other rides I could see that the water was completley gone from the ride area which was a bit strange to see. I assume this was to do with cleaning or something but it was very cool
Also the music on this ride rocks! XD -
I think right now I'm just excited to see what it's going to look like be it awful or incredible
I like Angry Birds but not really to this degree XD Have we decided on likely placement of the dodgems yet? I was looking over the Google satellite thing trying to work it out. -
I made some playlists on YouTube not long ago that I listen to while idly doing something else (usually work!), I'll link them if anybody's interested but I can't guarantee I'll have all your favourite tracks on them as some of the tracks are there for personal preference XD Just put them on autoplay and shuffle and you're set for an hour or two

1. Have an easier way to get to Theme Parks globally.
2. To be done with College/Uni already!
3. To have more time to do all the things I'd like to do. (Mainly just watching all the great TV/Anime/Films that's out there)

Anybody watch any Anime stuff? A friend recently got me obsessed with it XD I'm open to recommendations if people have them but I am currently watching the entirety of Bleach which I adore (On episode 60 or so, no spoilers!
) Also watched some of One Piece and all of Deathnote which were both pretty cool Deathnote especially I will watch Attack on Titan at some point seeing as everybody raves about it! Back in regular TV, Sherlock is going extremely well in my opinion, I know some people are hating the new ones and I don't really get why. Doctor Who is probably my favourite TV show though <3 Can't say I've watched much classic stuff but I eagerly anticipate Capaldi's run especially since it's confirmed to not be broken into bits this time!

Hello! I'm James or Jammin whichever you prefer, I've been lurking the forums for a while and came on to have some questions answered and have now been sucked into this great community. In terms of theme parks Thorpe Park is where I have been most though in my time I have ventured to Chessington (many years ago when Beanotown was still a thing) and Alton Towers (for the first time last year) and will do so again this year with newly bought Merlin Passes!

Also does anyone watch ashens here? Love his stuff and one of his more recent things relates to some news that broke the other day about Thorpe Park. It's a loose connection but I'll take it!

Maybe, doubt it's the thing they'd shout about right now though. Once we have the before opening day preview things we might find out what's been spruced up/changed/added
