  1. I will only fastrack if the queue is longer than 40 mins. I also go on weekdays in term time so it's quieter.

If the option is there to fastrack then people will use it. Take it away and you will have massive queues and unhappy guests. If I knew fastrack wasn't avaliable on a busy day then I would be put off going. I don't mind waiting an hour but anymore takes the piss.

  2. I was there today with a swarm queue stating 45 min queue so I bought a fast track got there and there was 4 people queuing in the main queue and the 30 min queue was after the fastrack queue. The girl told me to go back to the fastrack hut and ask for a refund as there was no queue at the normal entrance.

They happily gave me my £5 back and apologised!

Still misconception on queue times but at least they gave me a refund!

  3. I have mixed roughness of rides on SAW. In the early days I took a paracetamol to stop the oncoming headache ruining the rest of the day or 50 min drive home lol. But summer nights it wasn't too bad as I find I tense up trying to keep my head still or forward to stop it being smashed about on the non-spongey head things, they are like hitting a brick wall when your being thrown about lol

I still love the ride though!!

  4. Hi guys

The concrete parking outside the front of Thorpe Park is that for staff? Premuim holders? Anyone?

I've been there early before and still been told by the stewards to park on the gravel part.... Even though the concrete central part is free....

    Any ideas?

  5. Ok so called Merlin about whether there will be a pre-booking for premium AP holders or if we just turn up on the nights we want to go and they said it will be pre booking again and won't be avaliable until towards the end of the month AND premium holders will be guaranteed entry as I said about general public and standard AP holders being a me to book from a couple of weeks ago.

Also asked when AP preview night can be booked as its under 3 weeks away and they said its defo Friday 4 October and again probably towards the end of the month that you can book but to keep an eye on Facebook and Twitter.

So pretty much what you guys said but nice to hear from them personally instead of assumptions x

  6. Guys, I've not been to an AP preview night before - how does it work exactly?

Do the day time guests get chucked out at closing time? - do we only get access to the mazes/rides for the preview night after 6/7pm (whenever TP close to general public)? Even though the mazes usually open at 3/4pm..... or do the open the mazes at 3/4pm but only let AP holders on showing their pass or having a wristband?

Can someone who has been before shed some light please?

    Thanks, x
