Edge opened today for the first time to the public at 12pm. I was operating it, it went brilliantly with no faults. Adults and children seemed to of loved it.On the previous weekend just gone it was having staff rides, the staff seemed to be enjoying it.I have had 4 goes on it, 3 on Saturday, 1 Sunday and it's brilliant where ever you sit. There is a row of seats that most of the time get top spin, but as the ride cycle is so long, around 3 minutes, it's not just the same seats getting top, it slowly changes.It seems slow, but when you're on it, it really is quite fast!

It probably won't be as busy as you think it will be.I won't be attending this meeting as I will be at work on THE Edge!

Really is a fantastic offer and one way Chessington treats it's annual pass holders properly Although with Thorpe's annual pass you have to pay but if it didn't go ahead, people would of complained anyway. Bit cheeky of them to to charge but it gets the money in.Going back on topic, should be a fantastic day at Chessington providing they can get all their rides running all day. Nice introduction for new staff dealing with guests as well before the main season starts!

With all rides opening, that's a good deal there! I won't be attending however.

Same Mark! I'm not driving 120 mile round trip for Saw and possibly 5 other rides, as far as I am aware you only get one ride on Saw with an allocated time slot.I will be going during the weekday possibly.

Ripsaw's fountains are manual with the control of a joystick that goes up and down to control how high the water goes.

I was doing breaks today, didn't do Cobra though. I saw you walking past when I was on the Dragon, also saw you walking past when I was doing the Magic Carpet. And then later on in the day I saw you when I was doing Trekking Tractors tea break, saw you walking past, your mum did look at me I swear!

Edge has been testing well and most groundwork is now done. In the ride areas they have put little rocks in to make it look more pleasant and actually looks quite nice. The queue line is nearly finished, signs are going up soon. They have put the Edge logo over the path that goes under one of Cobra's air time hills.On the homepage is a radio type advert for it which plays automatically! This is so that members have a clear understanding why they have been warned and how they can go about having the warn removed.Below is a list of offences which may incur a warn. Some of them are instant warns, others are if its something that persists such as bad grammar/punctuation. Please read through and make sure you are aware of the warn system guidelines we will be running from tomorrow onwards. Mania Hub's Warn System.Please note you will be warned and/or banned if we the Admins/Mods of Mania Hub feel you are breaching the T&C and/or the Posting Guidelines. Please familiarise yourself with them. The main reasons to be warned are:* Poor quality posts (one word posts, double posts, spelling/grammar mistakes (e.g. tlking like dis), swearing or trying to get around the swear word filter.* Going off topic in posts or having a conversation with another member in a thread, please remember this is a public forum and will not benefit anyone else (This includes the random topic in the off-topic subforum).* Creating new topics which already exist or are just pointless.* Harassing other members which includes bullying.* Posting content I.e. pictures/videos/links which is inappropriate and/or harmful to any users which includes racism, viruses, swearing, violence, sex/porn.There are 5 levels of warn below is what happens if you reach any of these levels. The warn may go up by one level at a time I.e. 20% to 40% or it could go up by more levels depending on the severity of what has happened. Yeh Rush's columns do look good in black.Andy, from what I gather I don't think it will be running on Friday. If it does open at some point during the day, they will put the net back up that goes over the path between Rush and Zodiac. If that's up then it might be that they are close to opening it.

Ah yeh! I did see a group of boys and I said to someone I think we are drawing people around Stealth area which isn't good!

Rides close as and when there is a problem. They will never close a ride just for the sake of it!Really really good day, thanks to everyone especially Holly and Chris for making it fun.

Hey Ryan. I understand your confusion, 365tickets & lastminute are both saying about Saw opening on the 20th. Not sure if this is covering their backs just in case something goes wrong or not. The countdown timer is still on track however for March 14th.Interesting to note that lastminute are not allowing you to use your tickets on March 14th however 365tickets are.

A carriage didn't technically fall off. A bolt sheared off but the carriage was still attached.

My PC is OK and it isn't a practically fast model compared to others nowadays with only 1gb RAM.
