Tidal wave will now be unavailable for the rest of a season, says the sign at the park entrance.

This annoys me ridiculously as well, but I find it far worse when the detonator countdown is cutting out because it just ruins the one unique thing about it really from other drop towers... Another thing that annoys me is when a ride message plays such as the slammer disembarking message and then straight after, a staff member repeats it near enough through a microphone...

New for 2017 at cwoa: Even less attractions open and every one must be closed by law for at least four months per operating season.....
-
Typical... Just following its Chessington origins... Aka not making it to the end of the season like the majority of cwoa rides....
-
The one thing to me that makes this seem even more unreliable is that there all in the same area so you would have just nothing there, and a through route around the park would be cut off, saw would be isolated and I'm pretty certain that slammer would go before most of those rides....

Does anyone know if more work has been done recently, and its current state and on that note if it looks like it may be able to re open for fright nights?
-
Same thing happened yesterday but they added two on both between 1 and 2 which in turn created walk on queues for them both around 4:30...

The inferno exterior audio hasn't been going for 2 years nearly now and when iac is playing indoors it ruins it becoz one of the main things inferno has got over nemesis is its audio. Problems like this just annoy me how they haven't been fixed, but its then when you go to Colossus and they are sometimes integrating some of the original audio messages that actually improves the feel.

Because they have a lack of engineers.... That's why samurai has only just started being repaired lately...
-
Most likely Intamin wouldn't support the ride anymore and then we would end up with a slammer situation....
-
About time rattlesnake reopened, of course being just after I last went.... But I remember at the end of last season one of the lorikeet staff saying about a disease or something similar that had been found....
-
Wouldn't be surprised for it open for scarefest.... But if it does, surely they will only be able to run a maximum of 3 trains because the other two are damaged probably beyond repair and it would take longer for new ones to be made....
-
Technically it would still be an ohr as new intamin trains use the stealth restraints....
-
The park really has been deteriorating since really I would say since after vampire went in because everything after that has been of a much lower quality and doesn't seem as well thought out.....
-
The gates wont open unless every seat is raised or in lockdown so when its quiet with low staff, they adopt that procedure to save time and so the staff don't completely do their backs in raising the seats.
-
Once its up and running in like may I find it to be just as reliable as pretty much every other ride *cough* one train op *cough*
-
I just for some reason have a feeling they are designing a new ride system, similar to what happened with slammer... But what makes this even worse, is that because of these closed rides everyone is allowed to go back for free which is good, but just makes the park a lot busier and without some of these rides, cos lets be fair tomb and rattle are pretty big and cwoa and safari is up there, so some rides are ridiculously long... As well as this is there something up with bubbleworks because it always seems to have a 2 hour queue minimum when I have been in the latter half of this year so far, when only two of the four rows of the cattle pen are filled?
-
I only ever saw work on it when it was right at the back of the workshop which it was for a good few weeks but whenever its been at the front with no engineers it suggests to me that they were either testing it the previous evening (likely) or they had planned to run it that day...
-
But rattlesnake did reopen after the smiler for a week or two then closed again and whenever I go its testing around 3pm and in the station it seems as if there are new traction wheels, safari skyway really just needs to be removed, even when it was running this year it was on such reduced capacity... And tomb blaster is either broke, or it could be getting a retheme or the closure could be related to the sort of Egyptian howloween thing that I've forgot the name of....
-
Hopefully Colossus will now remain on two till the end of the season, its just annoying when you see it at the front of the workshop with no engineers and it looks as if they just cant be bothered to move it out....
-
So does anyone know why tomb blaster and rattlesnake have been closed for at least the last month or so, and if they are going to reopen?

New for 2016 - Park-Wide Improvements
Matt10 replied to MarkC's topic in Chessington World of Adventures
That area where they were doing construction is now another inflatable thing, but I think the best ride for the park would be one similar to th13teen with its own twist to it, maybe a new element and different theming... -
Swarm keeps breaking down lately, still better then the ops at cwoa though....
-
It opened up again nearly two months ago....
