Still a bit tired

Last night it was very busy, coasters and mazes closing and stopping. I can now share my favourite mazes, in order:
1. Cabin in the Woods
Very intense, jumpy and a hectic atmosphere
2. My Bloody Valentine
My first go was alright, but the second run was very in your face (probably because I was at the back of the group)
3. Blair Witch Project
It was well executed, even better without the audio and floodlights
4. Saw Alive
It was alright, I just felt too safe inside.
5. Big Top
Most anticipated but was awful. Madame Mephisto would only let us take one route, dropping poster didn't drop, and chainsaw clown just looked at us funny. However, human baby only let us take dead end.

I do fear that this year's attractions aren't going to be very good for some reason, and now we don't have HitH to do if we don't like the others.

I understand they are trying to save money, but these "let's close _______" are getting ridiculous. If I hadn't already sorted a date and booked hotels etc. I don't think I'd bother this year.
Oh yeah, Hex, CatcF, Twirling Toadstool, Driving School and Froghopper will open from 11. Wobble World will close on Saturday as well.

Very interesting interview with the creator...

I think Chessington needs something to cater for both markets- family and thrill. I do have a dream that there could be a drop tower where Haunting in the Hollows was. It could have several pre-shows to add to the immersion. 60ft sounds right, not over the height limits and as tall as they can get really.

Yup, has scaffolding all over it. Shame as I wanted to ride it next week.

Wait... You could get wet on what is now Rumba?
Oh yeah, Tussauds where running the place [emoji14]

It's really silly. I have heard the mazes at Thorpe are much more intense, despite the lower age rating.

5th Dimension wasn't very successful, not many people rode it.

Same here...
