  1. Sorry, this is really fussy but I hate being called a 'kid'. I find it rather patronising. Anyway, back on topic, I was wondering whether this dark ride will be thrilling? On Derren's One Show interview, he said that your body would get jerked around a lot. Personally, I'd prefer a thrilling robocoaster type experience than a more atmospheric trackless experience.
  2. I suspect it will be ride type, name and more details on the story of the ride.
  3. I know, but I want to win...
  4. In my school (it's a state school) phones are not tolerated anywhere on school premises. Not in lessons or between them. If you are caught they take your phone, you get an after school detention and you get your phone back on the next Thursday. So if it gets confiscated on a Thursday, you'll have to wait a week to get it back. Anyway, this is very off topic so we should probably stop...
  5. So I'll get my phone confiscated in Spanish then? Well, it's a risk I'm willing to take.
  6. I'm at school at 9am (for the WC16 announcement).
  7. I'm going tomorrow. I shall post some pics.
  8. ^ My future Thorpe competition entry was for a B&M hyper on the island behind The Swarm. My ride was called Slipstream and had a futuristic vibe. Anyway, I'd love a hyper coaster.
  9. Intamin mega lite in Canada creek...
  10. Some concept art of the polyp called Soulken. The theming looks decent...
  11. I think another, cheaper Oceannearing ride looks more probable. After all, the building isn't massive and nor is Merlin's budget. Though, I could be wrong and Merlin could have invested loads into this attraction.
  12. I can very much see your logic Cian, however wouldn't a trackless system cost a bomb?
  13. As Ryan just said, I'm pretty sure the layout will remain the same.
  14. On sunday, only one figure will remain. On Monday, none will remain and I have a feeling that shall be when the 7th clue is released.
  15. I'm always right... ish.
  16. Derren Brown: Automatons. Sounds nice. However, I feel it will go down a much more Merlin route and be called The Derren Brown Ride.
  17. I know the 5 figures have been a recurring theme but I still think the amount of figures will decrease.
  18. Nemesis is now a SLC!
  19. Surely when the count down goes to 4, there will be 4 figures and so on. Just like And then there were none.
  20. New for 2016: EXCITEMENT!!
  21. I'm glad there's going to be theming on the tunnel or "space portal". It looks like it is filled with fog which should enhance the experience for those not using VR. Also, anyone realised that Kepler 9 is earth?
  22. I'm still quite disappointed. The idea seems quite naff but at lest it's a USP. Seeing the video and concept art has made me slightly more optimistic. The graphics look great and the futuristic vibe is appealing. However, from an off ride perspective, surely it will look like the same light blue, tame, under themed flying coaster - with the addition of people wearing bulky black goggles.
  23. The tower on the left isn't purely about Ferrari World. It depicts the flying theatre too. Anyway, I don't think the right tower is to do with any particular ride. It just looks like construction of various attractions. I believe The SFX coaster is themed around being inside a Ferrari engine and the specific parts that make the car. So cogs would certainly fit with the theme.
  24. Or just not ride it.
