I only have three really old ones; the middle is from 2009 and the others 2010

I thought I had uploaded some photos from Friday at Thorpe here but I must have accidentally deleted them or something. I only took them on my phone but I'm really proud of them... Nice sillhouette swarm thing Not a particularly stunning picture, but I thought it was cool how I got them both in the same photo. Happy, sunny, death themed ride. Weird to think this is just a stone's throw away from a giant roller coaster! Inferno. My personal favourite but it would have looked cooler with a bit of mist!

That was open on Friday.
-
It opened on the 9th, but I think it has to stop for testing a lot more now.

There was music yesterday around sevenish but I remember it being creepily silent towards the end of the night. Also, they may have had a problem with the music on X. The music was fine until halfway round when it started playing Rita Ora's 'Poison' in bleeps and bloops over the original disco music really loudly. I doubt it was a remix, because it would play just a few lyrics and then stop and start again randomly.

Went last night after school- nice considering the suprise science test I had that day! It's the first Summer Nights I've been to, and I thought it was very good. Ride count: Stealth:2 The Swarm: 2 Nemesis Inferno: 2 Saw: 2 Colossus:1 Depth Charge:1 Storm Surge:1 X:1 Pros: -extremely quiet, hardly anyone on park, me and my friend were sometimes completely alone in places like Canada Creek -rerides on Saw and they let me on an empty frfront row seat on Inferno - Inferno's mist was working -General good vibes in the park as a whole, it felt very happy and summery! -lack of chavs in general Cons: - Saw (I think) had to close for a bit for testing until seven (?) maybe because of Smiler? But then a few of the rides closed between six and sevenish - not many food places were open, nor either of the big shops - I saw a few people being confused about the whole Summer nights thing. A man on Stealth was being told he needed a wristband for Summer Nights, but he said he was allowed because he had an annual pass. It would be interesting to see what it would be like tonight with an act performing, and see how busy it would be. Also, in the Dome there was some kind of competition thing with a haircutting mabobby thing that I didn't really look into. These now have signs on them that say 'Toughnuts'. I have no idea what that means, because at first I thought they they said 'Doughnuts'. I also thought they could be rooms for the performing acts and then figured that they were way too small.

While walking through X's queueline, I came across an open fire exit. I had the perfect oppurtunity to take some photos, but sadly it doesn't really show anything interesting. Oh and here's another picture. Nothing better than James Allgood's post tbh.
-
I also have some photos from Summer Nights yesterday. I managed to get one from the X queue because one of the fire exits was open?! I'll post them soon.

Banned because that isn't entirely true- it wasn't a full blackout, just a lot of dizziness.
-
Banned because you had a whole row to yourself in Nemesis!
-
This news is very upsetting and knowing many people who want to be dancers when they are older (I just do it for fun) I know that would destroy a career in whatever dancing she does (unless it's wheelchair dancing). I hope her recovery is fast.

So it blends in with the treeline, because of the locals or something.
-
Isn't that a permanent attempt at 'theming'? At least I thought it was when I last went there.

Zach is correct! Unfortunately last year's year eights (this year's year nines) went overnight and a group of girls wandered off into the woods and accidentally went back into another tent, disturbing everyone. They were sent home early and our trip was shortened to a day. Thanks guys. 2) Yes, I'm doing my tap exam and I am crapping myself about it! 3) On the Saturday I am missing my dress rehearsal for Bugsy Malone so I can perform my show with my original dance school and then the next day I'll be performing Bugsy with the MN Academy! (I'll be a gangster and shooting the audience with foam! )I'm Nervous about it!
-
Okay then! 1) I'm going on a school trip in a few weeks and we are camping overnight! 2) I'm doing my grade 3 tap dance exam in two weeks 3) I have two performances over the weekend of the 11th and 12th of July with two different dance and theatre schools.

I took my friend on it a few weeks back and it was her first go on it, and we were both disappointed. She was because the cycle was male cow poop and me because the last time I had gone on it, it was amazing.

2. If two IS the lie, I hope your jaw is okay.

Here's also an update on one of the injured people. Looks like she's gonna get a lot of compensation.

Just signed that petition and got a fair few of my friends to do it too. In other stuff, there's a Stop the Smiler page already on Instagram. First of all, this person should stop this account and second of all, they should get a grammar lesson.
-
I'm going to take this with a pinch (no, a ladle (no, a jug)) of salt because someone on Instagram is claiming that the Smiler will be open next Friday along with Saw. I think that it's a bunch of male Cow poop especially as this person claimed in the comments that Merlin were losing £12m a day. But I'm just putting it out there.

I just watched some of that interview and I can conclude from the seven minutes and forty seconds that I watched that that woman needs a high five. In the face. With a chair. And Nick Varney deserves a medal for not doing so. I would have been driven barmy if I had been in his place.

Suuuure... as what JoshC said, the decision to post that was probably by an inexperienced person.
-
They shoud have thought before they posted. Which is also probably a good motto for myself.

This is just disrespectful. http://money.aol.co.uk/2015/06/03/injury-lawyers-accused-of-capitalising-on-alton-towers-tragedy/
