I'm here to make the first emotional post (lol)Rodeo was fantastic. I first rode it August 1999 and it instantly became a favourite. Dynamo and Breakdance No.1 were/are far better but Rodeo was always a special ride for me. Alex, me and several others got the last ride on it in 2004 and it's a ride I really miss. What really annoyed me about its removal is the way it wasn't really removed for ages, just left to rot on site and behind Mexciana. A bad end to one of Chessington's original rides. And one of the best rides it ever had. 2004 may have seen the addition of one of the UK's best rollercoasters but it also saw the removal of one of its best rides.
  2. Well I mentioned on SP, but you know whatever !
  3. That STOP sign was waiting to be put up on a wall/fence etc
  4. If you wanted to be majorly pedantic you could say they are riding it a maximum of 20 hours before everyone else gets the chance. I'd rather go when everything else (should) be open because otherwise its a waste of petrol for me

Questions to Thorpe Park should start again after all the buzz around Saw has died down. We'd like to welcome back Cringle to TPM as admin. King Cringle, as he is otherwise known.
  6. FEAR THE CHAVS. THEY ARE EVERYWHERE!

I think anyone who comes out at school is very very brave. I could never have said "oh by the way I don't just choose vanilla, I also want mint choc chip every now and then" because its something about the school environment that makes the whole coming out thing so hostile.I'd forgotten that this sort of thing still happens to be honest as every year at work and in social situations, whenever someone has asked me what I am, I tell them the truth and theres absolutely no problems at all. I even had a mini-scandal (ooh-err ) three years ago and the issue was never my sexuality, it was the people involved in it. So yeah, from experience, as people grow up they become more accepting of homosexuality. Unless your a right-winged, Daily Mail idiot who will never be won over because of their extreme stances....

Dude that's awful. There's not much that can be said on your part as the damage has been done. There is only one positive now though and that as its all out, people will eventually be bored of that and move onto the next big scandal. And believe it or not, your life will get better from this point onwards.
  9. If we're talking just rides I kind of like Rattlesnake and Runaway Train at Chessington. I know it seems kind of odd but if you look at them, the theme is perfect for the rides. Mexicana, if it had a bit of a repaint would be superb. Black Mamba also comes incredibly high, gorgeous ride.As for parks, the picture I've uploaded shows just how gorgeous Europa Park is. It's not just themed well, its beautiful and well maintained.
  10. That bloody Marc ey, he needs beating
  11. More fool you to be honest. I don't envy people that have more money then sense.

According to the Daily Express (or Diana Express) the amount of women aged 20-27 checking for cervical cancer has increased by 20%. Regardless of the cynics, something good has come out of Jade selling her story. Hopefully this will save life's in the long run
  13. I'd strongly go against anything with as low a throughput as a wild mouse. It would have queues longer then all the main rollercoasters and would be a waste of the space.

We have deleted several posts in the Saw topic tonight and a lot of posts have been edited for bad grammar and punctuation. We are trying to keep up as fast as we can.
  15. Rides aren't given height restrictions based on their intensity or how much better a ride is. Besides how do you know Saw is better then Speed, no-one from the public has ridden Saw yet.

We are enforcing it, I've had to edit at least 10 posts in the last week spelling Colossus like Colossus or Nemesis like Nemesis.

    Guys, its speltC O L O S S U SThank you =)Another oneNEMESIS

Seriously?! Getting rid of a very good and very popular ride seems a bit of a dodgy idea to me. What would you replace Loggers with?
  19. No Detonator?! I'd have died if that wasn't open
  20. This is a problem with Thorpe's size more then anything, all of those places are situated next to loud things. Sunken Garden next to Stealth, Ranger under Inferno, CCR under Saw and BBQ next to Slammer.
  21. Recession is increasing the parks numbers, not reducing them. Thorpe and Alton have been incredibly busy all week, Chessington has had to increase its half term opening hours because of the popularity of the zoo during this half term.Money will still be tight but the parks are getting good attendance figures.
  22. I blame 600 pph through-puts and Inferno over-riding
  23. (That's not actually that much)For instance, over 100 fury cars are sent out every hour, appoximately 50 trains are sent out every hour on Inferno and Nemesis. *Is Geek.
  24. RidesI think they need to keep up with maintenance mostly. I know the little things are the first to go in theme parks but I would really love to see the park how it was in 2003. The water tower at Tidal Wave for instance, that looks great and would love to see that working again. I'd like to see Zodiac themed to how it used to be in 2005 before Drayton's Cyclone emerged. Colossus repaint is a must, it looks really ugly at the moment. The Stealth DJ needs to be bought back also. On a personal level I would simply LOVE for Quantum's magic carpet ends to return as I just can't the image of a flying shoe box out of my head whenever I see it.EventsSummer time Beach party! Even though we rarely get the sun, I'd love for a beach party with a barbecue, music etc. Fright Nites is basically there as the parks most popular event. I haven't been for two years so can't really say what I'd improve, same with Thorpe Blast. An Easter event may work. Be Discovered failed because people weren't discovered. The area also really needs to be used more then it is. It takes up a lot of space and when it isn't in use it looks terrible when you look at it from Inferno.SystemsDestroy fastrack. They never will so instead I'll opt for less fastrack and a higher price. They make the same profit and guest services get less people having a moan Entrance looks awful with all those metal gates. Please get some proper fencing Thorpe, it's so ugly.

Now I've never operated Rameses but I'm sure Rameses was waterproofed, whereas Ripsaw (which runs fountains much more aggressively) isn't waterproofed and had a lot of downtime two years ago because of it.
